Adobe Flash Player for Windows 10

I have a problem in that I want to run a "*.air" program on Windows 10, which I understand should be "Flash Player".  Every time I go on to the Adobe Website, it tells me I have it already installed in Microsoft Edge.

I don't seem to be able to download any file and I can't seem to get around it.

Can someone please help
