Analysis Workspace: Data values shown in graphs

Analysis workspace does a great job showing you the value of a bar or a line data point when you hover over them.  However when you export the project to a PDF, that information gets lost to the scale on the side of the graph.

it would be great if we could display the data points on top of the bars or next to the link data points.  having the option to display all data points or just the min/max so the user's don't have to hover them and so they get printed to the PDF would be enourmously helpful as we (analyst) tend to share information via email and slack in a more informal situations.

these labels should change based on the scale so if I want to display % vs numbers, I just need to change the scale of my graph and the data labels will update automatically

Hi @tsabin03

Since 2018 this feature is considered to be for the next release according to

Also @jen_lasser, put it to investigation in 2020, why did you put it back to a new status in 2022? Adding min and max is not related to this feature. This just rolled back the progress of this feature back to 2018.

You can see how many users (according to the comments) are waiting for this feature to be released and these are just web analysts. Almost at every meeting with the management we are asked about this feature - this is what the client wants to see.

Could you please reconsider the priority as it's discussed since 5 years now?

This feature is still on our backlog and not currently being explored or investigated.

Hi @jen_lasser,

Nice to reach out to you! Hope this message finds you well. Since 2018 we are awaiting for this feature to roll out.

For the analysts it would drastically improve our daily work. As of now we have to export the graph to excel and create separate graphs, as no data labels shown on the graphs.

We will be looking forward to hearing from you! Please let us know if separate call with our Account Manager is needed.

Hey. For the min/max data label, sometimes it's difficult to read because it overlaps with other stacked line graphs. Can you help fix this issue?

We added min/max which is why this was investigating. But for this request, we are not actively exploring this feature at the moment, but it is on our backlog.

Has this been forgotten or taken off of the future deployment list? Curious as this is still not an active feature for bar charts.

HI! What is the progress on this! Max and min is Ok but distributing reports in PDF it is a must to show the values on the graphs.@jen_lasser
