Bring Bot Pages and Metrics into Analysis Workspace

I need to be able to filter average-destroying bot data out of my Workspace Analysis reports (if it's not filtered already). It makes reporting on Average Page Depth extremely difficult. Please bring Bot Pages and Bot metrics into Workspace Analysis and Segment builder!

Upvoting this. Is this on the future roadmap to implement by product team this year?

Has anyone had any issues with bots, being Direct and the only distinguishing markers being Reloads of pages?

This idea is duplicated by Add Bot dimension to Analysis Workspace and Add Bot dimension in Workspace, adding 6 votes here.

As you're detecting bots, here's a (somewhat complicated) methodology that I put together with our consulting team to filter bots in a more advanced way:

Thanks for the quick response, ericmatisoff (cool first name, by the way).

I'm surprised I didn't think of that fact beforehand. I suppose a potential reason why we're seeing these high page depth values may be due to unfiltered bot traffic from other sources.

Hi there - I'm in complete agreement that bot data needs to be brought into Workspace. However, I'm pretty sure traffic that is identified as bots (via Bot Rules) will already be filtered out of all of your Workspace data, the same way it's excluded from all reports in Reports & Analytics except the Bots / Bot Pages reports. Make sense?
