Fallout Percentages

Does anyone knows the formula for calculating the Continued and Lost Percentages on a Fallout Report on the process section. I thought it was a % change but it's calculated differently please help.

step 4 vists / step 3 visits (ie 3494/8932 = 39%) etc.

the 48% is 8932/18606 which is the overall percentage left at step 3
