How is time being tracked?

Hi, when debugging our tracking calls I wondered what parameter indicates the time? How is the time spent being tracked?

Thx

Hi Alessandro,

Time spent is a rather complex and conditional calculation and differs for a page/ site section/ evar. I would recommend you to go through the sequence of articles here which explain the calculation of time spent with examples - https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/reference/metrics_time_spent.html

I hope this is helpful for you. If you have more questions around it do shoot it on the community. Thanks!

No, the time parameters would not be present in the URL. Time stamp would be sent separately in the image request.

So when testing and debugging the tracking call, there is no time parameter in the URL?
