Adobe Analytics

I keep forgetting to post this, but today it was particularly annoying. Why do we have have to have the tab ACTIVE in order to get the data to display and load?  I typically open Workspace and then launch different reports into separate tabs in my browser, but the Workspace doesn't load until I actually navigate to that tab.  Why am I not able to load your tabs in the background like so many other sites? This is super annoying when I'm trying to open multiple reports at one time and trying to SAVE time!

Hi All, I was wondering if anybody has recommendations for a solution to this problem. We were hoping to add a few surveys to our websites (31 websites all the same but in different languages) for visitors at certain points (order complete / cancelled etc) but we wanted to link the data with Adobe so we could see in Workspace what page they were on when they answered and another other data (time on site / depth of visit etc) as well as importing things order number and it's associated values. Does anybody use a service that they can recommend where the data can go into analytics? Thanks Dave

Life is full of risks. So are technology projects. If you ever saw the Ben Stiller movie Along Came Polly (maybe binge-watching movies during the pandemic), you got to meet Rueben Feffer, a man who assesses risk for a living using a risk management software program. In some ways, I can relate to the movie’s risk management character. As some of you know, when I worked at Omniture, one of my roles was helping customers fix broken analytics implementations. As I performed this role, I observed many key risk points associated with digital analytics implementations. As I have mentioned in past blog posts, many digital analytics implementations fail or underperform for various reasons, including consequential decisions made or approaches taken at these key risk points. Whether you work for an organization managing your digital analytics implementation or at an agency that helps clients with analytics implementations, understanding the key places that lead analytics programs

Hello Adobe Analytics API User,This is a final reminder that the following Adobe Analytics API services are scheduled to be deprecated on August 18, 2021. 1.3 Analytics APIs 1.4 SOAP Analytics APIs Legacy OAuth Authentication (OAuth and JWT) If you haven’t already, we highly recommend that you consider moving off of these versions as soon as possible to avoid any disruption or risk losing access to workflows that may be based on these services. Please review your own API use and Adobe Analytics integrations to determine the services impacted. I was going through this article https://helpx.adobe.com/analytics/kb/sending-image-requests-emails.html to track email opens for our campaigns using image requests. I'm having difficulty in creating an image request for the following pagehttps://www.vitas.com/resources/end-of-life-care?cmpid=c2356. We are planning to do an email campaign to direct our users to this page and I'm interested to know the number of emails opened. Can anyone please help me to create a hardcoded image request so that I need to see the number of email opens in Email Open rate report of our global report suite.

Has anyone ever worked with Adobe to have them evaluate or perform an audit of their Adobe Analytics implementation?  I am curious if such a thing is possible and what the results were as well as what recommendations came of it that you can share at a high level. Thanks.

Hello -In my reports I have to report on confidence level that uses decimal number, which is not standardized and can get very long. In the report the number of decimals higher than 13 decimals gets converted to Scientific/Text format. I can manually change these types of numbers to number/generic format, and if I refresh report manually RB keeps the number/generic format. However, the scheduled report keeps reversing the numbers back to the Scientific/Text format. I spoke to Adobe client care they said that this is an excel limitation as the cell should display no more than 11 digits in the General format. I tried formatting, formulas and was not able to find any solution yet. Do you have any suggestions for me? Thanks in advance!

Alerts in Workspace stopped working on 6/30. Anybody else seeing this issue?

Hi all,I am not sure exactly what to get from you all but I thought I would ask anyway. I am in a very unique situation where I can essentially "start again" with marketing channels (COVID made such an impact that YOY reporting is no longer required). However looking at the adobe documentation, best practice for Marketing channels is to no longer use "Direct" or "Session Refresh". Is anyone else doing this as it seems like a very odd choice. Thanks

I need help understanding why Adobe is reporting more reloads and page views for a page in the Entry Page report, than in the Page report. Both reports are in the same workspace, reporting the same (completed) time frame (not reporting today). My understanding is that the Page report includes traffic totals for each page listed, and the Entry Page report is a subset of those totals, reporting results for the page, only when it was an entry page. Total visits and entries make sense between these reports. How can a page have more page views when it was an entry page than when it was viewed at any point in the visit?Testing the top 10 pages indicates some pages are reporting as expected, others are not. Do we have an implementation error?Thanks-Jane

Hello CommunityHope everyone is doing well.I have tried integrating conductor 2.0 with Adobe Analytics. But I am unable to get conductor weekly report due to an error which states "the report failed to successfully transfer". I followed the integration guide and the only part I am confused about is some segment " Page Name to Page URL mapping" which is automatically created but I am unable to see this segment while integrating with data warehouse. Can anybody shed some light on this integration? Thanks & Regards

At the 2021 Summit, @benjamingaines1981 introduced the websiteBot Plug-In at "Tips & Tricks". The plug-in identifies bot desktop visitors by adding an event listener for mouse movement and assumes that if a "user" doesn't move their mouse, then it's likely a bot. However, users on a website may have accessibility challenges and choose to use a keyboard to navigate (i.e. they may not move their mouse at all). There were a couple comments in the live chat about this concern as well. Is it possible that the Plug-In might incorrectly flag users with accessibility challenges who don't move their mouse? I understand the plug-in isn't a "silver bullet" to clean up all bot reporting, but just wondering if this consideration was baked in. cc @jantzen_b
