Adobe Analytics

Hi, I am trying to analyze the impact of different marketing channels / campaigns. I've noticed that a lot of our orders are coming from Direct & Session refresh, making it difficult to determine the drivers of these orders. I had the idea of using a Flow visualization for orders (purchase event) by marketing channels, so I could see which channel users are first learning about us, and then where they end up falling into eventually. The problem: when I see the orders # at the last stage of the flow, it shows 5475 orders. However, if I look at a freeform table, and breakdown marketing channel by orders, I see a total of 7,760 orders. What is the reason for this discrepancy? Is this data at least directionally valuable? FYI I am looking at the same date range. Thank you!

Hi All Based on Adobes email on the EOL for Adobe Analytics API.1.Would it impact all customers regardless of whether Adobe API calls where used are not.2.Is there a way to check if we are using the old API calls3.What would a migration from 1.4 to 2 look like.. When we provide the data layer to mobile developers, they integrate it into their code and release it on the go-live date. Is it possible to abort or control any tracking tags (like trackAction or trackState) in Adobe Launch when they are triggered by specific user actions? Or is it solely in the control of the mobile developers to manage or abort tracking events once they implement the SDK?

Hi all, I'm trying to set up a Target test to be analysed in Adobe Analytics.  When I start an Analytics for Target panel in Analytics, my Activity shows up fine under "Target Activity" but for some reason the "Control Experience" dropdown is empty ("No items found"), so I can't proceed. Presumably my Reporting Settings in Target are setup correctly otherwise the Activity wouldn't be showing up under "Target Activity", and I've checked that the Control activity is correctly set (as far as I'm aware) in Target, so I don't what else to check for...   Can someone point me to towards what I might need to look into to get Target and Analytics to talk to each other?   Thanks in advance,   Achilles

I am starting a new job in a few weeks, and am taking the training for the Business Practitioner certificate.  It would be advantageous to have this before I start.  So as to put what I learn into practice, it would be useful to have a test instance that I can use to try things out.  Is there such a thing?  I do not yet have access to a live instance.  In case the above seems like a tall order, I should mention I am already a GA professional, so most of the concepts are already familiar to me.  Thanks

Hi, everyone. I have a question regarding an issue with the Excel report generated using Report Builder.I scheduled a report from an Excel file that was last refreshed on March 11, 2025, setting it to send every day. However, the PDF report I received on March 13 still contained data from March 11, 2025.According to the official documentation, if a schedule is set, the entire report should be automatically refreshed before being sent. Based on this, I expected to receive data from March 13 automatically.Even considering possible delays, the report should at least contain data from March 12, but since it still includes data from March 11, I am wondering if this is the intended behavior of the scheduling feature or if there is an issue.As a test, I manually used "Send Now" on March 14, expecting to receive the latest data. However, the report still contained data from March 11.I checked the options but could not find any settings related to scheduling. How can I fix this issue?Summa

Up to Gen 3 we were using Launch tag manager web property. As the 4th generation Chromecast runs Google TV, which is a full Android-based system similar to Android TV it seems I need Android mobile SDK here. Anyone who had experience of this implementation please confirm. 

Hi All, looking for some guidance on how to handle the the following scenario: Scenario:  The visitor comes to the website and a page event is sent, the visitor then leaves the tab open for 30+ minutes and becomes inactive. Should when the visitor returns and becomes active again on the same page should a new Page View event be fired as this is classed as a new visit? Any help on how you handle this for your own websites would be appreciated.

Hey everyone,Maybe this is a dumb question, but I CANNOT figure it out. I'm filtering visits by language, and the languages are listed by country (i.e. Spanish (Argentina), Spanish (Peru), etc.). There is a plain "Spanish," but I can't tell if it is a combination of all the other Spanish(es) broken down by country or if it's just like that because those people didn't specify on their browser that they're in a certain Spanish-speaking country. My question: is there a dimension that's just all the Spanish languages combined so I can create a graph with one Spanish line (representing all the different Spanish(es)? It's not relevant what country that particular Spanish speaker is from. The same question applies to English, Portuguese, and all the other languages.

Dear Adobe Analytics Team, The Adobe provided "Last Week" component description states that the time period starts on Sunday and ends on Saturday. However, many organizations have customized Report Suites to start the week on a different day. While the description is technically accurate, it can be confusing, particularly for Adobe Analytics Workspace beginners who rely on these descriptions for understanding components. Since we cannot modify the description for OOB components ourselves, we request that you revise it. Ideally, the description would reflect the respective Report Suite setting. If that's technically challenging, we suggest removing specific weekday references altogether and stating that the first day of the week depends on the Report Suite setting. Thank you,Susanne

Is there a tutorial or example on how to implement adobe analytics in a reactjs app? I am looking for reactjs NOT react-native.   I have search and search online but i only see google analytics not adobe analytics.   Is adobe analytics use much in react apps?

It seems to coincide with our governance team reporting anomalies in the lookup files that come from Device Atlas, but I haven't been able to prove that as the root cause.

Hello everyone,I am trying to delete all old projects in Adobe Workspace. I want to delete the ones last used in 2023, but I can't find how to filter correctly. The search engine won't let me use quotes and find exactly what says ‘2023’. I can't filter by column either. Does anyone know how I can do it? We have almost 30K reports in the company and 20K have not been opened in over a year.

Can admin see the workspace created by an user even if its not shared ....

I'm trying to find the number of visitors to certain countries broken down by week and then by language. The first country I easily segmented into weeks, and then each week into languages. However, when I went to segment the second country into weeks and then languages, it didn't give me the "breakdown" option when I hovered over the country name (see picture). Any ideas? Also, what are the best practices for project size? I have several panels with several components in each, and it's started slowing down a bit. Is that indicative of something?

Hello Experts, We are trying to figure out best way to categorize AMCV, AMCVS & s_ecid cookies in One Trust.All the other analytics cookies are categorized as Performance cookiesand these 3 cookies are categorized as Targeting cookies. We see that Analytics calls are happening fine but wanted your opinion if End users don't accept targeting cookies to be dropped to their browsers, will that affects analytics by any means. In Other words should we categorize these 3 cookies as Performance cookies? Thanks,Nitin    

Hi everyone,I'm looking for your expert opinions! Other teams have historically been reporting bounce rate using the out-of-the-box formula (Bounces/Entries) in Adobe Analytics, which is abnormally low due to the fact we have lots of other s.tl server calls (e.g. clicks, form interactions, etc.). I am in the midst of trying to convince stakeholders to move towards the more standardised Single Page Visits/Entries - less prone to be affected by content/business requirements. Curious to know how many of you are facing/ have faced the same issue and what did you do?
