Do you know how sequential segmentation works in Adobe Analytics (AA) and in Customer Journey Analytics (CJA)? Not something basic (left) but something more interesting (right). Do you know what happens in this segment using Only After Sequence, plus Exclude, with multiple checkpoints, out-of-order container levels, and an After modifier? Do you know why this is valuable? That sample belongs to a use case to explore a visitor’s next visit after some key event, like an application submission. It returns exactly one visit for everyone who has applied - their next, consecutive visit. It works for the whole dataset, though qualified visitors applied on different days and engaged again at completely different times! Is it possible when a user opens a lightbox that a pageview can be fired from that event? Sounds like a simple question but it would be interesting functionality to enable to see if our lightboxes and pages within those are being viewed or not.

I'm experiencing two issues with a daily data feed export from a global report suite in Adobe Analytics, where I utilize "post_evars" for filtering and querying:Multiple URLs with a post evar for the server value: Filtering by the server's name ("post_server" in the data feed) to isolate data for a specific website is unexpectedly yielding results from other servers. What could explain this behavior, and is there a resolution?Multiple Countries Assigned to Domain Pages: Despite observing correct country mapping in the data layer, the domain pages are being assigned multiple countries. Why is this occurring, and how can it be rectified?

How do you change the default report suite for all users?

Our ecommerce website is getting substantial reports in dataDog logs (831 in the past day) for:ERROR Error: Uncaught (in promise): Error: Identity cookie not found.and ERROR Error: Uncaught (in promise): TypeError: [alloy] [DataCollector] An error occurred while executing the sendEvent command. It does not happen for everyone.Seems to be an issue loading in the adobe launch script or the actual sendEvent - would placing it an async block and adding try catch around the sendEvent call hide / fix the issue?. 

For our current client, we have an Adobe Analytics client-side implementation using Web SDK for web. However, we want to migrate from a client-side to a server-side implementation.What level of changes will be required? Additionally, what existing data and configurations can be reused?I am referring to Adobe's documentation, but is there any specific documentation or tutorial related to migrating from a client-side to a server-side implementation for both mobile and web?Thanks & Regards,Kaushik Ganguly

Hello, we are using Activity Map, and when clicking on a CTA, we want it to capture the href value of the link rather than the button's name. We have employed a dataElement with the Activity Map customizer extension, but it retrieves the entire URL, and we need to exclude parameters from the button's URL. Is it possible to achieve this? Thank you. 

Looking at the Device Name (SDK)  variable in a Mobile App suite, I see a pretty high occurrence of just "iPhone" and then a bunch of instances of "<Person's First Name>'s iPhone," in addition to the expected Device-Model, as in "iPhone 11,2". This is only happening in one of our mobile app report suites, so it isn't an iphone-to-adobe issue. While the deviceName (SDK) is wrong, we also have a value DeviceName coming through, which contains the correct value ("iPhone12,1" etc) even if deviceName SDK is wrong.  Is there a way to tell the SDK to always grab DeviceName ("iPhone 12,1") instead of deviceName  of "Derek's iPhone"? I was hopeful we could tell Processing Rules to just grab DeviceName  but it doesn't appear that's possible. 

Hi All,I wanted to understand if I send same field value in two different objects in and array with each of these objects containing other different fields, how does CJA interpret this data.For example, if I sent an event to AEP which had an array field populated as below with a product id information, { "products": [ { "id": "prodID123", "count": 5, "type": "new" }, { "id": "prodID123", "count": 3, "type": "old" } ] } How will this data be reported in AEP/CJA?I'm assuming products.count against products.id value "prodID123" will show as 8, is that correct?If I create a segment for events which had only one product in them, will this event qualify for it based on unique products.id value "prodID123" or will it not qualify because products field has two objects in it?If I create a segment for events where products.type value is "new" and used it to fetch products.id data,&

Hi, I am able to connect ADOBE CJA to Power BI using expiring credentials. However, I do not understand how to use the JSON Token to connect with non-expiring credentials.Where or how do I need to use or add the JSON Token in POWER BI?  I am trying to understand why I am getting two different results using the same data in the table.  For ex.  the result I got using March 2nd is different than the result for 'last full day'  I am not understanding the reason for the delta even though the dates are the same. 

I have a sequential segment set up at the visitor container for page a then page b. I then look at the number of visitors with that segment and break it down by last touch channel. How should we interpret the number of visitors from each channel? I am seeing that a few channels have almost the same # of visitors as the aggregate number of the visitors. Does that mean this 1 visitor came from multiple channels when they visited page a then b? How is that possible since I thought we are looking at last touch, only the last touch channel should get attribution.  

I set up a Derived Field to only extract the domain names from User ID. I used the following configuration to set up the field: Although the preview looks fine, when viewing the data in a Freeform Table, I see that lot of User IDs which also have domains in them are getting classified as "No Value". What is the reason for this? Could you please help resolve this issue?

Hi, My team wants to optimize our Google paid search campaigns using the website data we are tracking from Adobe Analytics. Specifically, we want to optimize the campaign traffic so we can attract the audience to complete certain activities on the website, such as completing a specific form on the site or clicking a specific link name. We have created the related custom metrics in Adobe Analytics to report on these metrics as KPIs. I've created the connections between Adobe Analytics Report Suite and Google Search Ads 360 using OAuth Server-to-Server Credentials method.However, after the connection was established, I was not able to see any custom metrics I've created that could be accessed in the Adobe Analytics report suite project / via ETL tools like Supermetrics. Hi, I'm trying to tie out UVs, Visits, and Page Views from Adobe Workspace to Downstream Databricks from the adobe daily web traffic table. Here is my code. I don't know why it's not lining up and I cannot seem to find a good answer. I used the documentation to have certain filters. My page views by month start to fly off, along with visits. UVs seem to be fine though. Can anybody help with this? If not, can someone point me to a Downstream analytics consultant?   Thanks!

Is there documentation (or better yet a tutorial) that shows how to set up in Adobe Data Collection using the ACDL extension?  We aren't ready to go to Web SDK  yet, so just looking for Analytics instructions. What is the difference between using the ACDL extension to set tags vs. without it with a non-Web SDK set up?

Hi, I am trying to create a data feed that would fetch data from the 1st December to 1st of January. This was configured to fetch daily. The status has remain active for hours. How do I check what is wrong and why it hasn't completed the job in the past 5 hrs. I checked job history, I found nothing

Since their data can be analyzed in the same way, I need to create individual Adobe Analytics (AA) reports for each subpage. The URLs follow this pattern:www.domain.catalog.page1www.domain.catalog.page2www.domain.catalog.page3Is there a way to automatically generate separate reports for each subpage without manually copying a report and changing the URL each time? Can I use wildcards, segments, or filters to automate this process?Any insights or best practices would be greatly appreciated!
