Adobe Analytics

We’ve developed an integration with the Adobe Analytics API that allows clients to pull user and visit data for their campaigns directly into our campaign builder, enabling them to report on campaign performance. Our integration uses the OAuth process, requiring someone from the client to reconnect through our site every two weeks to obtain a new refresh token. However, during the most recent reconnection attempt, instead of receiving a refresh token, an “access_denied” error message was returned instead. Could this issue be related to the permissions of the individual attempting to reconnect, or might there be another cause for the “access_denied” error? I couldn’t find any relevant information in the documentation.

Is there any pre-defined event to capture prodView which we need to enable in Adobe Analytics?

We work on hybrid app tracking (only it’s javascript part from webview). We utilize AppMeasurement javascript implementation as the app has page reloads (all the app files are stored on user’s device) and we need to track events offline. Online tracking works fine. We have issues with offline tracking. Settings: only ‘s.trackOffline = true’ and ‘Timestamp Optional’ for the report suite. Not set: s.offlineThrottleDelay s.offlineHitLimit s.forceOffline s.forceOnline The issue:We’re able to see offline events in real-time report as soon as we restore the connection after offline interactions. We can see them in the report later. But if there are more than 10 events in offline queue (for instance, we fire 20 events offline) we restore the connection and only 10 (or less) events fire in real time report (and appear in the report later).This behavior is either in local environment or in the app on the iPad.We’ve tried to monitor the process i

Is StoreBot-Google automatically filtered out be Adobe Analytics? Other data sources show this bot hitting our site millions of times this year, but we see less than 1,000 instances in Adobe Analytics for the StoreBot-Google User Agent.

Hi,We have a SaaS based system that has a number of data connectors to enable our customers to connect their systems to the platform to gain insights from their Website analytics, digital marketing and ecomm data. We recently had a customer approach us that wants a connection to Adobe Analytics. After reviewing documentation on the site and setting up the needed accounts we are struggling to understand how we can make a reusable data connector for the Adobe Analytics platform. The documentation seems to indicate it would be tightly coupled with a customers Adobe Analytics account. Does anyone have any experience or clarity on this please? Thanks

Use-case: We have one report suite that collects data for about 1,500+ microsites. For example, https://www.mysite.com/somefolder/bob-reilly, https://www.mysite.com/somefolder/mary-smith and so on, and there are abut 1,500 of them (all different names). There is data collected in the hits that help us to distinguish these sites from all other pages. We can already have a Workspace Report that lists them and the metrics we need, e.g. a table listing the URL or page name and the metrics we need like page views, visits, etc. However, we are looking to create individual reports for each microsite and distribute it to the "owner". For example, have a report with data about https://www.mysite.com/somefolder/bob-reilly only and send it to Bob once a month. Create Mary's report and send it to her. The idea is that we're trying to avoid sending everyone a report with everyone else's data. Is there a way to do it? How? Thanks!

found a few articles on this topic but am not sure I understood them correctly. Can someone explain why, for some dimensions, the sum of the breakdown values does not match the total count? Why does this happen with only some metrics and not all?Here I was using url as a dimension and product view as a metric and then breaking down url's with product ID's.  

I'm using a custom date/time stamp in the email subject line of an Adobe Report Builder scheduled report.  Is it possible to include text to separate the date & time in my custom time stamp?  To get something like this-  "Report Name_04-Dec-2024 Thru 9AM"

Hi, I've built a dashboard in PowerBI using Adobe Analytics data via the 2.0 connector. I'm able to refresh and publish my dashboard from PBI Desktop to PBI Web, but when setting up automated refreshing in PBI web, I encounter the following error when it attempts to refresh:<ccon>Expression.Error: The key didn't match any rows in the table.. Key = [Id = "cm300000167_66f447fe9b0e4356d07ab153"]. Table = #table({"Id", "Name", "Description", "Kind", "Data"}, {}). </ccon>;<ccon>The key didn't match any rows in the table.</ccon>. The exception was raised by the IDbCommand interface. Table: Adobe_Table. I understand that PBI Web is looking for a key that doesn't match what it finds in the table, but I'm confused as I've had no issue with it in PBI desktop, so not sure what to fix.

I tried to convert/upgrade my (legacy) Report Bulder reports with the new Report Builder Add-In.But only a few requests were converted. For the most requests all segments were deleted from the report.Only got the error message: "Upgraded:segmentNotAvailable". The segments are named and created by me. With legacy RB I didn't face any problems. Thank you for any suggestions or hints for troubleshooting!  

Hi all, I created a freeform table with visits by tracking code. Is there a way to sort the tracking codes not by the highest number of visits but by other criteria? (for example, the order requested by the customer). I tried to create one by dragging the tracking codes one by one, but when there is the one with the highest value it goes up in the table.

Hi everyone, could someone explain to me the difference of the following:Let's say, I have a Prop which stands for an event action, e.g. load of an application on a page. And I want to know the visits that included the load of that application. What I do, is drag 'Visits' into my metrics column of the free form table and then create a segment with Hit scope and the propX equals 'load of that application'. I get 15,000 Visits.I wanted to also create a fallout visualization and when I set the scope 'visit' for the Fallout and drag the propX with the value 'load of that application', I get 17,000. I then created a segment from that touchpoint to compare this with the freeform table and noticed that instead of a hit based segment like above in the free form, this is a visit based segment. The segment with the 17K includes the same amount of propX values for that application load I segmented on, but when I drag the propX dimension into the rows, I can see, there are also visits for other va

This is just a word of fair warning to all who may currently be using the Key Metric Summary component in their Adobe Analytics or CJA workspaces at this time. Currently, the Summary Difference portion of the metric is calculating incorrectly.  I have already submitted a ticket to Adobe, but this is an error happening production-wide across ALL report suites, from what I can see.  Anyone using this specific metric will likely experience what I'm seeing.   The screenshot is from a sandbox environment; so, neither is the data real, nor does it compromise any privacy issues. As soon as I have an update about this being fixed, I will come back and update this post.  Happy measuring everyone!

Hi Community!My authenticated community website sends the user_id to Adobe via the value we capture on the data layer. user_id = 12345 (for example)However, we do not capture how many months the user has been a Community member. We keep this attribute in our data warehouse. months_in_community = 3 (for example).I would like to create a two_column report (user_id and months_in_community) to Adobe so I have the months_in_community value for analysis inside of Adobe reporting.Is that type of mapping possible inside of Adobe, where I can add a new dimension based on an existing one? Hi All, We have noticed, Visitor ID tracking gap with Mozilla Firefox Browser (Issue not persist in Chrome). Results in tracking gap of Visitor Journey. Issue: Each screen load (PageView Call) getting different Experience Cloud ID in Single Page Application. And this issue only happen in Mozilla Firefox browser. On further checking, we gets NS_BINDING_ABORTED error in network tab. Note: This is Post-Login SPA, hence we used self-hosted (extracted from Adobe Launch) method. Can any one explain, 1. why this only happen in Mozilla Firefox?2. Premise: I am creating a process where a maintained classifications file can be fully or partially manually be uploaded to Analytics' Classifications API and data is updated. This can be done with relative ease using FTP file transfer to send items in, but since the API has more options, we decided to investigate would it cover our needs. Even though the Classifications Datasets are a bit more hassle to explain and especially to get them programmatically with indications which one to use, I've managed to build the flow nicely and can run everything in Postman Flows. Almost everything that is.There was another post (I will add a link when I find it) that was trying to do something similar and ran into this issue as well. Hi everyone, I’m trying to calculate the average change in bookings rate on a day-to-day basis, and I’d appreciate some guidance or suggestions on how to achieve this. Here's the approach I have in mind: 1. Calculate the average bookings rate till "Day-2" (the day before yesterday) from the start of the financial year.  2. Compare this average with the bookings rate of yesterday to find the percentage change.   The goal is to dynamically track the percentage change for any individual day. Ideally, this method would allow me to evaluate performance on a daily basis and compare it against the running average bookings rate up to the day prior. I’m wondering if this is feasible to implement in Adobe Analytics. Or if there’s a better approach to achieve what I’m trying to do? Any insights, suggestions, or examples of how to structure this calculation would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
