whats the reasoning behind the First Launches being deducted from Launches in this calculation:Total session length / (Launches - First Launches)

Main Goal:Determine how many visitors are viewing products, carting products, and purchasing products of each of our major shopping categories. Display this info as a fallout chart. All steps should be EVENTUAL PATH.  I'm trying to see visitor fallout rates over the following actions, according to shopping category. (Beauty, Jewelry, Electronics, etc.) The numbers in () are strictly for example, but close to what I'd expect based on our business' history. We'll also use the Electronics category for instance. Electronics Page & Product Storefront Visitors (100%)Visitors that viewed an Electronics Product Page (90%)Visitors that added an Electronics Item to their cart (25%)Visitors that purchased an Electronics item ( 8%) Originally, I tried creating a segment for each of the above steps, by Category. Hi, I am currently trying to set-up some basic web tracking with the server-side forwarding and the AEP Web SDK. Following the documentation I managed to create a schema, a Datastream and a Dataset, however I am now faced with an issue where AEP Web SDK Extension in Data Collection doesn't let me create the XDM Object Data Element to map the variables to my schema. After selecting the XDM Object type in the Data Element interface I am presented with the following error:An error occurred.Failed to load schema metadata. An unexpected server response was received. My Schema uses the default XDM ExperienceEvent class with the Adobe Analytics ExperienceEvent Template Field Group. When I download the schema metadata there seems to be nothing wrong, however the extension can't pull it through for some reason.Has anyone run into similar problem?Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,I have many workspaces created for individual report validation during a project. I would like to move them all to a single folder. But, it turns out that when I select a RS and choose the 'Move to' button on the action bar, and select the target folder, the workspace is copied, not moved. Further, I observe that if I make an update to the workspace that has been copied into the new folder, that update also is recorded on the copy of the workspace that is still in the 'Projects' top-level folder. IOW, the two copies are linked in some way. Maybe, the copy in the folder is just a symlink to the original? I don't know. 😕😕  This idea of 'move to' as an alias for 'copy to' leaves me dumbfounded. Do the logical conditions in Launch Regular or Exception allows DOM ready rules to exclude subdomains from main domain for rule firing? for example, my domain and subdomain have the same Adobe Launch environment code. And, I have one DOM-ready rule that I want to fire only for the main domain https://www.abba.com .. Can I exclude this DOM rule from firing on my subdomain https://qwert.abba.com like below (considering both domain and sub-domain has the same Adobe launch code on them):  Thanks

Does anyone know why the default "Days Since Last Visit" dimension by visits do not add up to match the total visits? As shown in the screenshot above, the default "Days Since last Visit" visits is 949,764 out of 1,643,948 - not matching, why is that?  Whereas when custom track "Days Since Last Visit" using the plugin s.getTimSinceLastVisit() to an eVar the visits count are almost adding up to match the total visits. I am hoping to use the default Adobe 'Days Since last visit" dimension for reporting, however if there is no good reason why the visit count numbers aren't matching, I may need to rely to the custom tracked eVar.

Hi all, can someone give me the official definition of what "Campaign Click-throughs" are and how they are counted? Just because it does not seem to be properly described anywhere, not in Analysis Workspace nor Adobe's documentation (hello, Adobe!?).   My best bet would be that this metric represents/replaced "Tracking Code" Instances (Campaign)? But why don't you just call it "Tracking Code Instances" anymore then and instead give it a cryptic name and forget to it write down anywhere?   On top of that, I assume the value as such is counting the actual occurrences and is not deduplicated, correct? We use the getValueOnce plugin, so I would not care much.   But maybe as a community group effort, we could draft something and send it to Adobe to please update their docs xD

If I look at the Marketing Channels I can't see the Referrer Domains if I use for instance Marketing Channel Detail or Referring Domain. koffiexp.com is our main website and I want to see how many visitors were from our sister website top-x.nl when they converted. What dimension do I use to see the referrers within Internal in Workspace?

I wanted to identify the total visitors to the site, which would include both unique and repeat visitors. AA only has a metric for unique visitors, which provides the number of unique visitors. Is there a way to identify all visitors, including both unique and repeat visitors, using a single metric?

Hi everyone, I am trying to show the average time spent on a page within a certain section in a histogram, i.e. how many visits with 1-5 sec. time on that sections, how many visits with 6-10 time, and so forth. I used the metric 'Average time on Site' and filtered on the section (evar - certain pages are included) and got 71 seconds. I also found the dimensions 'Time Spent on Page - Bucketed' and 'Time Spent on Page - Granular'. I used the Granular one, page views as a metric and the same filters and downloaded all rows to an excel and calculated the sumproduct and divided by the sum of page views to verify the average seconds spent. The result is 11 seconds. This does not fit to the 71 seconds when using the 'Average time on Site'. How do they differ?Thank you!

Hey all, I'm brand new to Adobe Analytics, but I haven't found the answer to this question anywhere, so maybe you can help. I'm using a combo visualization to compare monthly values over the previous twelve months compared to the 12 months prior to that (each line represents 12 months). In the settings, I checked the box that said "Show trend line," but it doesn't show any trend lines unless I hover over the graph with my mouse (then the trend line is grey, so I have no idea which period of time it's referring to), which isn't helpful since I have lots of graphs to add to reports. Anyone know how to make them visible without me needing to hover over the graph? Also, is there a way to make a trend line match the color of the data line it represents? I'm including a picture of the way I need it to look with colored, dotted lines (I used Excel) and the way it looks now with my cursor hovering over it. Hi All, I have a visitor level segment, but within the segment I have "Visit to Page A then Visit to Page A". I didn't make the then part time bound (after or within), I just left at the default. Will this successfully look at a User that Visited Page A in one visit and then at ANY later visit also again visited Page A again?  Thanks!

Hi, We are interested in using Adobe Analytics 2.0 API.  There are a couple of questions i have:1) Are there quotas in terms of how many calls can be made concurrently per user/report suite/org?2) Is there a standard variables/pageurl across report suites that is accessible from API 2.0?  it seems this dimension is not usable from the API.3) We would like to pull page name and page url with page views call so the response looks likeHome Page,https://site.com/, 101Home Page,https://a.site.com/, 100Products, https://site.com/products/, 100It seems like I would need to make a single call get a list of all the page names and then make a separate breakdown call for each page name by page_url.Thanks for your help,Sammy

I want to create Daily alert which gives Unique visitors data of current day, Last week same day and last month same day. I am not seeing date range to be select in alert for this scenario. Could any one please help. Thanks!

Hello- I frequently copy data tables from adobe analytics and paste to excel for further analysis. Starting on 8/14, the data that gets copied are the percentages, not the values themselves. I have played with settings and contact our Adobe Analytics SMEs, and this is a new issue that does not have a clear solution. Any help would be appreciated. I believe this is a separate bug, but If I unselect percentages from the column settings, only partial data is copied to the clipboard (ex. uncheck percentages, copy 5 cells from a column, paste into excel, only the 5th cell in the column gets pasted.

I'd like to sort a dimension alphabetically, but I don't see an arrow like in this example:I believe the dimension is dynamic because I don't see a lock symbol on the individual rows when I hover over them:Any advice on how to sort the column alphabetically would be appreciated.
