Adobe Analytics

Hi Experts.  Recently I have introduced the concept of capturing Subscription ID, Transactions ID for the purchase event getting triggered on the e-commerce cart. In Adobe Analytics Workspace I am able to see very less data compared to what I am seeing in my data feeds. There is a drastic difference of 80% approx. Eg: Workspace shows only 22 Purchase event and the Raw data feed has around 125. All these 125 transactions in the data feed are valid Transactions - they are present in our zoura tables  To query the data feed In am using respective evars and purchase event present in event list mapped. What can be the possible causes for this. I want to ensure we see the same things that I see in data feeds in my workspace as the workspace provides more edge on the advance viz part.  @jennifer_dungan, @VaniBhemarasetty

Hi Everyone, I'm using freeform table mostly to dig deep to understand the funnel visualization across marketing channel, devices and region/sectors. Very rarely using Fallout though still its helpful. sometime flow chart also helpful. Can you please share your thoughts and best practice to understand the customer funnel visualization that help us to create more action item to increase the funnel output? If you share some of your screenshot, that will also helpful. Thanks,Bala

When reviewing the launcher and crash metrics in Adobe Analytics for the type of persive device that does not bring data from Android devices, does anyone know why?  

Would anyone be willing to sit down with me for a half hour to walk through how data layers are set up and how Adobe Launch is used to create data elements to capture data from the pages. In short, I've worked my way through the many Adobe Analytics Implementation videos on YouTube and in the Adobe Training Center and need to talk with someone to get a linear idea of how things work. Hi, We ran into a strange issue where we are seeing Unspecified values for a dimension for order metrics, but when i breakdown it with Product dimension that should ideally give me product string or codes, but it is not the case. Regardless of the flow on every order a product string should pass. While i see the product string on data warehouse system (Hive) i dont find those product string in workspace. Im trying to find the root cause of this and replicate the scenario, has anyone has faced this issue before and got any solution. Thanks in advance.

I am trying to calculate the percent difference between two numbers whether it is greater than the original number or less than the original number.      My Original Number is "A1" and by new number is "A2".   The formula I am using is : event.value = Math.abs(Number(this.getField("A1").valueAsString) / Number(this.getField("A2").valueAsString)); This works correctly if A2 is greater than A1 but if it is less than A2 it does not  1. A1= 16,000 A2=17,456 Outcome is 91.66%2. A1= 16,000 A2=14,500 Outcome is 110.34% (Should be 90.625%) Any help with be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Introduction Totals are not always what they appear to be to new users of Adobe Analytics. New members on your team may not fully grasp why the total at the top of a workspace report is not the sum of the rows and in what situations it is appropriate to sum rows. In the below example we see the total for visits are less than the sum of the first 10 rows (over 6 million). The reason is that a visit takes place over a period of time and during that time a user may view products in each of the site sections. The user constitutes only one visit, but they would also appear as one visit in each of the rows (merchandising site section).     While this example is difficult enough to wrap your head around, how to handle totals for merchandising evars can vary by the metric you are totaling. Hello Analytics Experts,I hope everyone is doing well. I have a scenario question, is there a way to abort all server calls when a certain condition doesn't meet? I know that Adobe has s.abort(), but this option will only work in certain conditions. I am exploring the possibility that if a user opt-out, all server calls will be aborted. I know that we have some extensions like ECID, but I am trying to avoid using any of the extensions.Question:Is there a way to create a condition in Launch that when the user opt-out, all server calls will be aborted, and when I opt-in, then, that is the time when the beacons start to fire again? I don't know if there is a way to inject a Global Privacy Setting like "navigator.globalPrivacyControl" or "Sec-GPC:1", but seems like this is browser-specific only. Hoping that there is a way to implement it from the Client side (adobe). I hope this question makes any sense.Thank you in advance.

Hi ,We have "Global all pages" rules firing on al page to track a pageloadand This rule has a demandbase event .When ECID is present then only this rule is firing.In current situation we are getting double pageview call? I search it on google on demandbase api.I assumed that because of this demand base api is causing this issue.Anyone  knows how this demand base api's are working ? 

Hi, We started using Adobe Analytics API 1.4 for a new project to get some dimensions and metrics for one of our marketing website.in API 1.4, we could make a payload request with multiple dimensions, where as in API 2.0, we can make the request for one dimension at a time, which makes the extraction difficult, and our automation has to loop through several items by passing the associated Item ID, and combine the data sets at the end.Where as using API 1.4, is straight forward and simpler. Is there a plan for deprecate AP 1.4 anytime soon, or is it safe to use 1.4 for our development?   Thanks in advance for your response.Madhava PotluriMetLife.  

I see a lot of visits for the customers where there are no page names and this is happening only in iOS devices. The data is falling into unspecified category. When Self serve transactions are compared with visits, i get a lot of data in unspecified 

Hello team, I have a general query around time over time comparison within Adobe analysis workspace. Is there a way one can easily display only % change calculated metrics within a freeform table? For example, Yesterday % change, Last week % change, Last month % change, etc but hide other columns where these metrics are calculated.

Hi Team, I am trying to create a segment from a listvar that contains different types A, B, C, etc with a view of only capturing values that contain "Type A" for example.Segment created HitType contains Type A I have dropped the created segment into a free-form table and included the visit metric but it returns all types. I have also tried to use the type instance instead but I still return all. However, I can achieve this when using the filter option with the free-form table.  Any suggestions? Thanks

Hello Adobe Community!I've been trying to solve this issue for months since we switched from the old report suite to the new one. As you can see in the old report suit, this is the traffic we used to receive, with more specific channels like paid search, email or QR Codes. On the other hand, here is the new graph with the new report suite. So, here is the order in which the marketing channels are configured:It's important to clarify that the same configuration we have in the old report suite is what we have in the new one we switched to. finally, here are examples about how we used to configure some channels like paid search.   So my question is about whether you know of any generic filter that could potentially help me configure the channels (at least paid search, email, QR).Is it possible that the campaigns we are trying to attribute do not match the filters and are attributed to more general channels like direct, internal, natural search, or referr
