Notify when Alerts expire

Currently, when an alert expires this seems to happen silently.

This creates a situation where someone relying on an alert may believe it is still in place but actually it has stopped working.

In order to ensure continuity of important alerts, the creator and/or recipients of an alert should be notified when an alert is nearing its expiration date.

Please can this be considered?

    Thanks Ben, appreciate you coming back to me :-)

    The reason we think this doesn't exist is because we set up a few test alerts with relatively short expiry dates see what happens and we didn't receive any notification when they expired.

    I'm 80% sure this is supposed to be happening already. We'll talk to our engineering team and see what is going on here.
