Processing Rules String Clean-Up

It would be nice to have a way to clean up page query string values via processing rules rather than having to set the processing rules then utilize SAINT classifications for clean up.

David, sorry to be naive, but can you clarify a little bit? An example would be helpful. I'm trying to understand exactly what the problem is.
