Same day visits Segmentation

We're looking for a solution to determine customers that visit without purchasing, then return in a separate visit the same day to complete an order.  Currently using the "within 1 day" option in segment builder seems to return 24 hours as opposed to "before end of day".  We're looking for the latter.

Check to see if in your setup you have:

 

Time of Day: Hourly 

or 

Hour of Day

 

Add these as a filter to "Same day" then you can pick equal to or less than see if it filters as desired.
