trended view of Referrer Type Report

The default view of Referrer Type is a pie chart. I really need to see this data trended over time. That would help me answer questions like "is my search engine traffic increasing over time?" Currently I have to pull this information into excel and manually create that report.

    Analysis Workspace offers this capability.

    it's just plain silly this isn't possible out of the box

    Google Analtyics does it and it's great. I have NO IDEA why I can't trend this report. And my new manager doesn't either...Please, please add this.

    Absolutely agree as well. You can get trended data for referring domains, but not referring types? Doesn't make sense - need this.

    I'll add my voice to this.  Currently I build a trend view in Excel.  The benefit of this vs the marketing channel is for clients that don't or cannot setup to use that report.  It's a more automated solution.

    Absolutely agree. Although I see less value in the referrer type with the advent of the "marketing channels" reports, I could still see use in this, and could never figure out why I needed to use ExcelClient to pull this data.
