How should debug/ breakdown the sudden high values and how should provide proper explanation on this?

Do you have alternate tracking systems? Like Google Analytics?

If so, are you seeing a similar spike there?

You could check and see if the was a lot of incoming marketing links?
Maybe something got picked up by social media or an aggregator that drove a lot of traffic to you site that day?
Were you potentially hit by a spammy bot? (you could check to see if you have an abnormal amount of traffic that came from one or two IPs that aren't standard traffic source using Workspace; you could also check to see if there was high traffic from old or undefined browsers/OSs - a lot of bots register as older tech, etc)

These are some of the first things I would check to try and determine if the traffic was legitimate or not....
