what's the different between event list and post_event_ list?

Question

In Clickstream Data Column Reference, there are two columns, event list and post_event_list. The descriptions of these two columns are same.I wonder what's the different between them.

Hi Mary,The event_list represents items as they arrived to Adobe originally on the beacon. There are processes that can modify these items before we complete processing into your reports. VISTA is one such process, where our Engineering Services team can implement custom logic to make a change, like adding an event that wasn't present when the Adobe Analytics beacon arrived. After such pre-processing systems run, the post_event_list represents the items that will be represented in your reports.
