Authenticating multiple CRM sources in one profile merge

Hello everyone,

When adding multiple offline data sources to a profile merge rule, I want to understand whether this requires the same authentication ID across each of the different data sources or whether this can be different per data source.

I have a scenario whereby customers can authenticate using different IDs across my companies digital real-estate:

Website 1 = ID A

Website 2 = ID B

APP 1 = ID A

APP 2 = ID C

APP 3 = ID D

Hello petej6570607​,

You need same ID to be synced with all datsources in your PMR that way you will be able to identify the same user.

    Hi Pete,

    From my understanding, i guess its requires the same authentication ID across each of the different data sources
