Customer Data Feed File - Use Cases

Hi,

 

Any recommendation/suggestion on how we can use customer Data Feed file data that we receive from AAM to our internal Data Lake. Need to understand how we can use those data to analyze/import any existing campaign or use those data to analyze and launch new campaign.

Customer Data Feed file is a snapshot of raw data that is collected by AAM.

 

I can think of following points right now on the usage of these log files:

  1. It really helps if you want to validate the data collection at trait/segment level. 
  2. If you have any Media pixels integrated then you can utilize CDF files to cross-verify collected data.
  3. These files provides you device along with customerIDs, which is again useful when we want to perform any checks.
  4. CDF files shows realized traits and segments so it helps in understanding the behavior of AAM based on the sent data signals, which are also part of these logs.

There are N number of ways in which we can make use of these log files. If you have any specific use-case which you want to accomplish then please share a bit more details around that and I will try to provide you a better answer/resolution.
