How to qualify URL for trait using Test Event URL?

Hi Folks,

I'm trying to test the URL using Test Event URL. However, i'm getting below error:

"Site visitor with this event would not exhibit this trait."

Quick questions:

In test event URL, Do i have to enter actual URL or demdex URL?

In Event Type, which option should i select if we are looking for only visits on particular page? is it mandatory field? or we can leave blank as well?

Hi @charlie05 ,

 

To test the trait logic, test event URL looks like:

 

http://subdomain.demdex.net/event?c_key=value where,

 

subdomain: company subdomain

c_key=value: trait expression

 

You can select the event type which suits your use case best. For your scenario, select page visitor.
