Adobe Audience Manager

auto created trait folders are given a datasource by default. In this case a source(folder trait level) other than the traits that lies "beneath". I can manually change the data source in the AAM UI, but as this goes for A LOT of folders i would like to solve this in bulk using BAAAM. But BAAAM doesn support "calling" these folders. Any suggestion on how to solve this in an easy way? Not really "interested" in doing this in manual operation for several hundred folders.... my objective is to keep data isolated in various buckets (using data sources), but im questioning if this is taken care of or not in this case since everything is "grossed up" on the other source?! But could be mistaken, since everything underneeth the foldertrait is isolated per se.

Hi, I'm planning to send same trait key name but with 100+ different trait key value to AAM(onboarded trait). For eg: couponcode="A", couponcode="B" etc. In this case, do I need to create 100 different trait. or, will it work if I create 1 trait to consider all key values using regex and to take care of this in dynamic manner. for eg:couponcode matchesregex   .* I would like to consider all users those who are eligible for any coupon code. Please help! My segment folders in AM are suddenly empty! There are still traits that are mapped to segments, but the segments are all gone. Any ideas?

Hi Everyone, We are about to do an integration from our first party data source with AAM, to avoid any future data reprocess, we would like to include all the fields in the scope, including several calculated fields. Given this calculated fields are not available yet, is it possible to include the columns for these fields associated to a client ID with a default value and then populate them when we have said variables available?. Here's an example of how we are hoping to upload the data. Client ID         Ordered Items          CLV123                           1                    Default Value1234                         4                    Default Value12345          &

Could we have some guidance on how we could run Target Activity pre-prod test while using AAM onboarded segments. How can we setup a test browser that is a part of target segment population?   For our on-site personalisation, we want to use AAM segments that use onboarded customer traits. Customer data is passed into AAM from CRM and other corporate data storages through a weekly onboarding. For example, a segment may include people who currently own a certain product. A Target Activity may use this segment, or a segment combining this with other rules (such as marketing consent trait, etc.) to serve an experience on site. We want to be able to QA it properly before it goes live, so we have confidence that the experience is only shown to people we intended. Thank you so much for your help!  

Hi, we are setting up AAM with the onboarded data definition and there are a few questions about it:If we have a "last_purchase" trait and it includes multiple values (SKUs or Products), Can we store it with a JSON or delimited format? What will be a best practice abount it?Is there any format consideration adding an integer or a string value with a trait? Thanks for your support.

Also is their a Staging Vs Prod URL?   

We are getting an empty value in the getVisitorprofile response for iOS suddenly, also it returns different values sometimes from what we see in the demdex response call. We are getting different segment ids qualified in the demdex response but we get other values in the getVisitorprofile response.  Can you please guide me on how we could resolve this issue. Hello!I am trying to help a client send mobile device ids from AAM to Appnexus. Some of Adobe's documentation was outdated and said that Appnexus can't receive mobile device ids from AAM, but I discovered through the Support team that it can. It just requires a bit of set-up. I was hoping to ask more about the set up, below I have listed documentation from a help doc that goes through it. From my understanding, Adobe and Appnexus will have to exchange segment ids. Has anyone done this? If so, what worked well? Hi, Wanted to check if recency/frequency setup will work even if user accessing the website only in Incognito(always). Let's say, we show the content based on onboarded trait qualification and remove the user from the segment after X no.of times content view(based on analytics data captures in AA and send it to AAM(via SSF) 

Hi there, Just wondering how do I create an onboarded trait to capture a key-value pair where the value is NULL or empty? I tried doing that but AAM gives me a pop-up that says "The Value cannot be blank"  Thanks! 

I have a Target A/B test running currently. In the page where the test is running I have a hero image and a button. Clicking on the button is the conversion. The audience used for this A/B test was created in Audience Manager. I need to create another Target activity. The audience will be visitors who saw the A/B test but did not click on the button. I'm trying to use Audience Manager again to create an audience. I saw another post here about using targetraw to create Traits. Dear all,We have a website where visitors search for departure and arrival places. These are taken from the cookies and sent by Launch directly to Target when device is a personal computer. However for smartphone users, the cookie is not issued, and the departure and arrival places  could not be sent to Target. An alternative is to send these info through Launch to Analytics when the results page is shown. We have some AAM segments created from these info using AA as the data source. And if these segments are used in an XT activity in Target, I wonder if some of the following concerns are true: 1. Delay between when a visitor qualifies for the experience and when they are included in the AAM segment to be used for XT2. Time to live when the visitor stays in the AAM segment could be different as supposed to if the trait measured is send from Launch directly to Target Please advise. Thanks in advance!Best,Roxie

Hey guys,So we are about to do an integration from our first party data source. This is currently a database and we are looking at the options to get a daily integration happening with Audience Manager. My question is: What is the best way to get your first party data into Audience Manager? I am looking at data sources within the UI. We would prefer to use an API to write in the information. But within the data source options it only lists the three below.  It also gives me no options to set up a API credentials. So I guess I’m probably looking in the wrong place. Can somebody please point me in the right direction of where to start with an API based data integration for Audience Manager?

Does AAM offer the opportunity to prioritize/orchestrate segments the same way Target does? Use case is based on website behavior where various traits and segments will be created in order to identify product interest. Once product interest is identified, the trait/segment is created. Destinations can include the DSP for display advertising and/or paid social.  If the prospect lands on multiple product pages, how do I prioritize which ads will be served? Is it based on last touch? Is there a way to ensure that the destination is aligned with the ACS journey that the prospect is being entered into?  

Just had a general question regarding Adobe Audience Manager Segments with multiple traits: Question #1When creating a Segment with multiple traits joined with an 'AND' in the segment expression: for a user to qualify for the segment: do the users need to satisfy all the traits based on the same hit, or same visit/session or same ECID?  Thanks for your help!

I would like to know is there a way we get all the  segment  user qualify for. example I would have a  connecting t our Customer care system if customer  call to support team  They added the customer  ID in the system for profile data and  all  info  . Some API can  connect to AAM and  get all the segment of the customer 🙂 Any ureses will really help !!
