  Lab Details Typically, audience targeting relies on data collected from a device. Data collection and targeting based on device-level data has its disadvantages. For example, you can't include customer data associated to the user of the device. Device-centered data collection is no longer sufficient for digital marketing campaigns or cross-device targeting. Hi Adobe, We had an requirement to extract details of all segments including destinations names if the segments are mapped to any destination.We observed that using “includeInUseStatus=true” parameter in  https://api.demdex.com/v1/segments/?includeInUseStatus=true returns an extra object to the JSON “inUse” with a Boolean value. Now to fetch the mapped destination id’s we got to loop through all segments (sid’s) which increases the load to the server also time consuming.  Please find the example request below.https://api.demdex.com/v1/segments/xxxxxxx?includeInUseStatus=true : Here the same parameter being passed to the request URL along with segment ID returns associated destination ID’s. It would be great if “mappedEntities” object is included in the JSON response without segment ID being passed in the request URL (First URL) to avoid multiple cURL request to the server. Regards,Pradeep

Onboarded traits Total population gone to 0 for Device ID since 17th March

Hi all I noticed on 2 different AAM accounts that I manage that all onboarded traits' total population went to 0 on the 17th of March, when we display results for Device ids. (no problem for cross device ids) Did anyone notice the same thing ? How do you explain this drop at this particular date ? This is a bummer, because when using the BAAAM tool or General reports, we get the trait population based on device id and not cross device id, so every onboarded traits have 0 population.  If you have any solution to get the cross device id in the reports, don't hesitate to share 🙂

Creating LAL and Influential Triats

Hi,I am noticing a high overlap between segment due to the LAL trait and I am wondering if 'influential traits' can play a part on this.  If I exclude anything that are part of the influential trait, would that help decrease the overlap. Thanks

API Token for Bulk Management - BAAAM Tool

Hi,I was tying to access the traits and segmets through BAAAM tool plugin where I downloaded the sheet from Relese note.After copy paste the information token & organisation id, later saved the file and try by clicking on the "validate token" but seems like I am getting the error something like "Token Error: 407".Can someone help like how to configured correctly or need to get any special privileges from admin console?ThanksVijay

Hi, Does the audience manager collect only signals as text data types only? i have seen in trait expression we have >= or <=  operators but still don't find any documentation what are the data types that the audience manager collects.  Also, if we are using SSF how this data type is defined and works for numeric or date related signals? ThanksKeerthivasan

Can we get Segment Addressable Audience (Devices) data using a general report within or BAAAM tool?I have tried to check this and I have been unable to figure this out and checking this for 100s of segments manually is a very tedious job. Can someone please help with a trick, TIA. Regards,Rajat

[Product Enhancement] Add Capability to Qualify Only OnceNew

One popular destination where one of our AAM Segments can qualify into is an email journey campaign.   Once AAM qualifies a device into a segment using a combination of web behavior and/or onboarded data points, AAM should send them into the email journey campaign only once.  We do not want AAM to continue sending the segment into the email journey on every subsequent page load after initial qualifications.  Currently we have an AAM segment qualification based on a set of web behaviors on our digital properties.  Once the device is qualify, AAM continue to send the segment ID into the email journey, which adds additional network traffic as well as clogs up the email journey server unnecessarily.   It is behaving more like a beacon call as opposed to a pixel.  We initially worked with Adobe Client Care team (Incident: 191226-000083) to see if this was currently possible with the AAM product capability and it does not appear to be so.&nbs

Ability to select the inclusion traits while building a Look Alike modelNew

Hi Adobe, It will be very helpful if there is a feature to select the traits we would like to include from third party data sets in marketplace while building a LAL model. Current features only allow to exclude the traits with a maximum of 500 trait exclusion. With thousands of traits in each dataset, it makes it extremely difficult to arrive at the traits we are interested to use, by using exclusion method. Also it will be nice if we can see the total count of traits selected while building the model for additional validations. Thanks

AEM and Audience Manger: How and where do I personalize content for first-time visitor?

Hello, I have AEM and I am thinking about integrating Adobe Audience Manger. My goal is to personalize content on my homepage for first-time visitors of my website using 2nd/3rd-party data. Two question:Is such personalization possible at all?Where do I set the targeting rules? If I know from the Audience Manger the user belongs to segment 23A, where do I set the rule that segment 23A is shown content X? Is that possible with AEM or do I need Adobe Target? Could I event use tools, such as Google Optimize, to show personalized content?

Good afternoon, Was discussing a current limitation of Adobe Audience Manager with our Adobe consultant, and she suggested raising a feature request with you (to then pass on to the product / engineering teams). Context:NOW TV is a digital TV streaming service  (part of the Comcast family).      Our users can pick and choose from a variety of content passes:   CINEMA / ENTERTAINMENT / REALITY TV / KIDS / SPORTS – and are not tied to any contract. Setting up conversion tracking on 3rd party partner sites

Hello, We have several clients whom we generate leads for via a mix of channels (display, referrals from content, etc.) and would like to set up a method of tracking conversion traits that came on their 3rd party sites referred specifically from our own properties. I've provided them with a pixel which they've placed on their "Confirmation" page, but this is firing any time there is ANY conversion rather than those that just came from ourselves.  What parameters would we have to add to the pixel in order to only "count" as a conversion if that user came from our website first please? Can anyone give an example of how/if we can do this? Thanks!

Suppressing certain users at a destination (not segment) level?

Due to CCPA, we have determine that some of the tags / destinations we have setup and attached to our segments in Audience Manager are no longer compliant for our California traffic. However, separating all segments by CA and non-CA is not scalable and might need to be changed with the next new privacy law.  It would be great if we could suppress a group of users (say CA traffic) globally for a specific destination. This way we could easily accommodate these new laws.

Overlap Report - Trait and segment minimumsNew

Hello,  Could you please feed back to the engineer team that limiting the analysis for traits ( minimum population is 28,000 during the last two weeks)segments (minimum population is 70,000 during the last two weeks) is doing a deservice to the platform from a usability perspective by limiting  the commercial scope of the functionality.  We don’t need statistical significance to calculate the overlap between two populations and should be left to the user to decide what’s viable for them.  I do appreciate a minimum for building a lookalike, where statistical models are being applied but not on overlapping.  We have a large volume of niche websites and removing the overlap limitation would help tremendously monetise those websites better.  Let me know if there is any way you can remove the minimums for both segments and traits.  Thank youAdriana

How Onboarded Deleted Traits will Affects the Other Traits?

Dear All,Just correct me if I am wrong please!Suppose I have two onboarded traits "ABC" & "XYZ"1) ABC contains signals (test=="1") and I got two users qualified for this trait after 48 hours.2) Similarly XYZ contains signals (new=="1") and I got same two users qualified for this and these users are already in the ABC trait itself.My Case is!Suppose, if we delete the ABC traits from the AAM UI means is this user will be removed from XYZ traits as well?Thanks,Vijay
