Adobe Audience Manager

Hi,I am seeing value under 'audience id' in adobe analytics, however, 'audience name' dimension doesn't show the name of the segment.  Do you happen to know why? Thanks

If you are working with Adobe Audience Manager, you have come across this challenge: you want to target your visitors instantly, as soon as they visit your website/app. This is achievable when you make users qualify based upon their real time activity on the site/app. But, if you have offline data available to be onboarded, then AAM system takes some time to process data (onboarded traits method). The way AAM processes on-boarded data is as follows:You upload your CRM data to AAM, either to an SFTP location or an S3 bucket.Every 12h, AAM reads all on-boarded data and processes it, converting the signals into traits.The traits are stored in the core servers.A visitor logs in for the first time.Since the communication between the browser and AAM is done through the edge servers, these servers have at this moment in time no on-boarded information for that visitor.The edge servers where this visitor activity has happened, request the on-boarded traits to the core servers.In a batch process

Hi, Can I share a segment with "All Cross Device" profile merge rule to a DSP(server to server) Destination?My Usecase is -- I have data in my datalake, which I have to push them to DSP destination from AAM. Is this possible? ThanksAvinash 

I'm using BAAAM to create segments. However, I see no option to specify the Profile Merge Rule. Is there no way for PMR to be specified? If there is no way, is there another alternate way to change multiple segments' profile merge rule in bulk? I would change multiple segments to one specific PMR not multiple segments to different PMR.Also a minor annoyance, same question about the segment and trait description, is there no way in BAAAM to enter descriptions? This is not critical, more of a house-keeping item, I try to add descriptions for traits and segments. 

I'm familiar with creating and onboarding .sync and .overwrite files containing CRM data into Audience Manager but so far have only onboarded text values. We have a new use-case and would like to onboard numeric data from our CRM into Audience Manager and keep the trait values numeric and not convert it to text. For example, currently all trait values we onboard are text.userID123<tab>"classification"="a", "grade"="b"  >and so on. This works fine. We'd like to onboard numeric trait values so as an example,userID123<tab>"classification"="a", "grade"="b", "income"="100,000" If I onboard a .sync similar to the above example I believe the 100,000 will be inserted as text. The ultimate goal if we're able to onboard numeric valuesis to create traits using operators such as income < 100,000 or income >= 100,000 and so on. I saw that we are using the AdwordsAPI for uploading the segments to GDN Last week we received the news, that this API will be switched off in April and will be replaced by the GoogleAds API. Google said "if you are a developer currently using the AdWords API, you need to upgrade to the Google Ads API by April 27, 2022. On that date, the AdWords API will sunset and requests to the AdWords API will fail." Does anyone know if the integration will be updated to use the new API so that we can continue to use it after April? Thanks, Rich

Hello community.I am looking at file-based ID Sync for people-based destinations and have a question about behaviour of new files over old ones.Say I have a customer with a hashed email against their Member ID, and on a subsequent file import, this person no longer qualifies for being targeted (no longer a member, or have explicitly requested to not be targeted). How do I remove them from the file? Hi! I'm trying to improve our segments management and I'd like to clarify what's the best way to approach segments at the end of a campaign.1. Is it enough to set an End Date for a destination or should I also send the segment to "Inactive"?2. If I set a segment to "Inactive", should I also set an End Date to the associated destination or delete altogether?Thank you! 

Hello Experts, I tried to update name of a few AAM segments through BAAAM tool. I was able to successfully login, retrieve a few segments through search option. However, when I edit the segment name and click "update segments" in the BAAAM spreadsheet - I see an error. Screenshot below.

The brand i work for currently uses Adobe Audience Manager, where we push audiences into DV360. We've just got some insights through outlining the key 100x SA2 locations (could also get postcodes) that we should focus our advertising on (best places for a new acquisition audience). My challenge: how we go about integrating these locations (list of SA2/postcodes) into Adobe Audience Manager? Is it easy to integrate? Or is it better to integrate these locations into DV360 directly?    

I need to build the following segment in AAM:Repeat visitors to page A but did not browse to page B on previous visit. This segment is to be used in Target for personalization. I have an evar that captures new or repeat visitor. I can use it in combination with the evar that has the page name. Therefore, combining the two I can specify evar for new/repeat == repeat AND evar for pagename == Page A.This will satisfy the first part, repeat visitors to page A. The second part is the one I need help with. How can I qualify only visitors who did not browse page B in their previous visit? I looked at Recency and Frequency. Using them I can define the segment by how many times a visitor qualified for a trait and how recently. I suspect they're the key to making my segment but how? EDIT: I'm pretty confident I can probably build this in Analytics. I decided to try in AAM for to avoid latency. I might be able to build it in Target also. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi, How do I verify if the server-side forwarding is sending data to AAM?  Also, we noticed that some report suites don't have SSF enabled, however, we are seeing data for that as well.  Can someone please shed some light on this? Thanks  

Hi, I am new with AAM and struggling with Predictive Audience, I have created a few PA but in all of them real time audience is not evenly distributed in the created segments. First segment is very populated then the rest have very very less value, some even have 0 audience. Can anyone tell me the reason behind this?

If Audience built from AAM can be pushed to DV360 (formerly as known DBM) to use in display network for retargeting?What is the mechanism of AAM linked between DV360 ? Does it use custom match or cookie mapping?

Hello Experts, I've created a segment in AAM with first party Online data - which is our Adobe Analytics data from our dotcom website. I created a report in Adobe Analytics workspace with same criteria (by creating a segment in AA itself). Now the question is, I see a 20% different between Unique Visitors show in AA and Real time segment population in AAM. Is this common?
