What Google Analytics elements can be captured in AAM?

Hello,

Hoping to receive some clarity on what specific Google Analytics elements can be captured in AAM? I could only find documentation around how to connect the two, no details around what elements will be received in AAM.

Thanks!

Hi,

Yes, all page load variables would come into AAM by default after implementing the Audience Manager DIL code. Custom events can also be sent over to AAM, but would require some additional configuration. This can be done in one of two ways:

  • Modification of the AAM DIL code, for which you can reach out to your Adobe Consultant.
  • Configuration within GA, for which you can reach out to your Google rep.

Thanks!

Thanks Christophe_Jossic. Yes, I've reviewed these; however, they don't actually indicate what will be captured by DIL. For example, will any custom events I've created in GA be passed to AAM. Any additional details would be helpful.
