Link is not opening in new tab

The page is opening in the same tab when updated as open link in New Tab. I selected new tab in rich text link plugin. I am able to see target="_blank" in author. when I open the page in view as publish and try to click the link it is loading in same tab. I checked in dev tools I didn't' find target="_blank". could you please if some face this issue previously.

Sounds like something is stripping `target="_blank"` on the published page. Maybe a CMS setting, security policy, or script is removing it? Try checking if there's any JavaScript overriding link behavior or if your platform has specific link settings. Hope that helps! 👍

After editing link using the RTE plugin, is the content fragment published? Works at author, fails at publisher; sounds content is not published. Make sure after editing, content gets published.
