is it necessary to create an ecid attribute on individual schema and / or event schema?

I have 2 external systems that do data ingestion on AEP, the two systems are:1. System1 (id=system1_id)2. System2 (id=system2_id) Can I create two individual schemas SYSTEM1 and SYSTEM2? Or can I create a single Individual Schema that contains both the system1_id and system2_id keys as identity attribute? Obviously System2 does not have the system1_id id and vice versa.

When are batch APIs generally used versus streaming APIs?

Title says it all -  I want to try and figure out how to best organize things like:Base TagEvent Tag (that is dependent on Base Tag) In an async implementation. My thought is to put all base tags in a single library loaded rule to guarantee it finishes in time for events which are closer to window load. having the "order" option doesn't do anything, because it doesn't guarantee completion before firing the next item.  You could chain actions, but then 100% of all events would have to have a base pixel in them too, which is not scalable  

I have configured an XDM object in launch to fire on a button click (login). I can see it working in the network request. However when I query my web event dataset in AEP, these events are not present. My other XDM object for pageviews works just fine.    

Hi all. I have Adobe mobileSDK installed on the app, and here is the sample data sent to Analytics using track state: data: { "state" : "e_pageview", "contextdata" : { "e_pageview" : "1", "ev_pagename" : "Product_Category_Overview", "ev_language" : "de", "ev_previouspage" : "Homescreen" } }  With this, I created a rule in Launch Mobile Property based on e_pageview state,& action is a postback to webhook. upon rebuilding library with rule and triggering track_state or track_action from mobile app, I should expect sample postback data to my webhook within few seconds, but no success yet.  Could you please tell me if there's anything I could be missing here? Thanks a lot.

Hi all, I am a newbie to Adobe Experience Platform.We have setup our own Cookie Dialog for our website. And are using Adobe Analytics to track the visitor data. There is one scenario in which when a user clicks on the button (say. Take me to "xxx") he is redirected to an external site.Now the events are getting tracked for the Page Views, button clicks etc. But when we hit the above button, instead of redirecting to the external URL, we get a NGINX Forbidden error. If we disable the analytics on the site, it works fine. Can someone explain what might be happening?

Hi Team,Since yesterday we are seeing some weird scenario on "DATE" datatype format and I am pretty sure that all our folks also facing the same issue from platform. Issue Description: All the field from schema which have the DATE as a datatype format is automatically getting changed to "DATETIME" (example : 2022-03-09T00:00:00) from AEP connector level. We have validated the same from source side ("Snowflake" in this case) and the value is appearing as expected on the instance. Therefore, we suspect that this might be a platform issue. Attached the sample tested connector for the reference. Note: the value seen on the attachment are randomly entered value for testing purpose.Implication: We have to manually use the calculated field to change the format from datetime to date while we do the data mapping as part of data ingestion.We are checking internally from our side and need to raise a issue. I am using Adobe Standard v2 consent standard for communicating the consent preference via Web SDK extension. It works fine for non-gdpr regions but, for GDPR regions, it shows the CORS error. Hello Experts, Hope everyone is doing well! We are inching forward to finalize a plan for Web SDK migration for data collection into Adobe Analytics. I would like seek help in evaluating the below scenario and its technical implications with Web SDK: Scenario:Assume that our site has several sub-domains (for various business segments/units) like below:user.business.com customer.business.com success.business.com  investors.business.com  Currently, Adobe Analytics has been deployed on these sub-domains, either through Launch or AppMeasurement JS was embedded directly via custom code. Our data collection and reporting is running at business-as-usual fashion.In case we start migrating to AEP Web SDK with one sub-domain (say, user.business.com) and go one-by-one to migrate all sub-domains: Will the functionality of identifying a Visitor (could be our existing Customer or a Prospect) be same? While they hop on and off over multiple sub-domain

Hi there,We are using Adobe Activation (DTM) on our website and we are suing the custom script capabilities of the page load rules to load scripts on the website for tracking purposes.The issue is that these scripts are cached - of course - but without any specific expiration defined for them. As a result, it slows the page load and can be seen in the webmaster view with a warning on the website analysis with the message: "leverage browser caching for the following cacheable resources: http://www.assets.adobedtm.com/...."Any tips on how to set up an expiration date for these custom scripts?Best regards,Marc-Anton

Hi all, I'm trying to learn more about Adobe CJA and have a couple of questions. Identity Stitching:  How does getting data into CJA work with stitching identities across channels.  Example, I've got a customer ID in one source, cookies in another and phone number in a third.  How does CJA stitch these together across my customer (and prospect) population? Time Series:  How does Adobe CJA enable time series analysis?  I've seen tables and Venn diagrams as CJA output, can it map out customer journeys over a time dimension too? Thank you!DP

My company website doesn't have a datalayer and I'm looking at the client services datalayer extension. Am I understanding it right that I can write the DataLayer code in the client services extension and avoid having to hard code the datalayer onto the pages of our website?

Hi All,I am doing one recommendation work to one of our business for AEP web SDK implementation where they have currently implemented AEP web SDK but not utilized the DataStream feature by not enabling the AEP settings (Event and Profile Dataset). Therefore, I have came up with sample recommendation architecture along with some key points that why should we consider the AEP settings under data streams.Can anyone please check the key points and sample architecture, make your suggestion and comments accordingly.Key Advantage:1. As per our current configuration, we send data directly to AEP data lake where it is considered as a streaming segment.
