Adobe Experience Platform

HiWe're thinking about some architecture options in a situation where we have some data in Salesforce and some in the Adobe ecosystem, so we're thinking of using Adobe's Realtime CDP with Salesforce as a Source, and probably also a Destination.I see this as an option in the documentation, but am wondering if anyone has actually done this? If so, could you report on the level of difficulty/headaches? 

Hi Team, I have a csv file which has the parameters of a segment (name, from instance, to instance) in dev sandbox, I need to create the same segment in prod sandbox using this parameter file. How can I create a segment via postman api using this file? Also need to iterate through the file in case there are more than 1 segments which needs to be created. In short, how do i copy segment from one sandbox to another?

Hello all, We use the "product syntax" variety of merchandising eVars in a few places. Note that this is where you specify eVars (and events) tied to a specific product in a list of products. The legacy AppMeasurement/s_code example looks a bit like: products=;this;1;1.11;event1=1|event2=2;eVar60=a|eVar61=b,;that;2;2.22;event1=3|event2=4;eVar60=c|eVar61=d The experience event XDM looks like it supports nesting the _experience.analytics.(customDimensions.eVars|event1to100) namespace within a productListItem object, but I'm observing that the values passed there are not getting mapped into Analytics. Are my observations correct, i.e. is this indeed the case that this isn't supported? If so, are there plans to support this in the future? And (another question), if there are plans, how soon 🙂  (say "really soon" plz) FWIW, everything else in the productListItems array seems to be mapping over quite nicely. Hello All,  As per the GDPR laws have mandated that organisations can no longer rely on passive consent for cookies The ECID itself have an ability to wait for opt-in before firing. For that purpose the Opt-in service is a JavaScript library bundled with Experience Cloud ID (ECID) and exists in Visitor JS in the global  adobe object as the adobe.optIn object.  But wondering how we can wait for other Third party extension including (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) not to fire on page load but fire only when consent provided.  I'm looking either using OneTrust (Consent management platform / Plain JS ) solution.  Thanks in advance.@andrey_osadchuk  @analytics_union @thebenrobb @pratheeparunraj

Hello, I am trying to import AEPCore module in my objective-c file using @15844621 AEPCore; but seeing following build error : - Undefined symbols for architecture x86_64:"_OBJC_CLASS_$_AEPMobileCore", referenced from:      objc-class-ref in AEPUtils.o Ignoring file /<DERIVED_DATA_DIRECTORY>/Build/Products/Debug.Stage-iphonesimulator/AEPCore.o, building for iOS Simulator-x86_64 but attempting to link with file built for unknown-arm64 Undefined symbol: _OBJC_CLASS_$_AEPMobileCore  When I saw supported architecture for the AEPCore library code, it was only available for ARCHS_STANDARD, due to this project's build is failing. Also when we are trying to import the same lib in swift file, seeing following errorCould not find module 'AEPCore' for target 'x86_64-apple-ios-simulator'; found: arm64, arm64-apple-ios-simulator, at: /Users/nbhawsar/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData/Theo-aagcberfiecdfmgpwhvoojbngfoy/Build/Products/

 Hello,I can't get into Adobe Experience Platform Launch. It gives an error like the one below. What could be the reason for this, I am in admin authority on my account. Or, with whomever I share this problem, it can reach a solution. "Error Loading AccountIMS Profile Error "User ID FB5662F95E6615AC0A495EC9@AdobeID is not authorized for Launch access with any organizations"Your session may have timed out." 

Calling Analytics functions such as Analytics.getVisitorIdentifier or Analytics.getTrackingIdentifier always returns AEPError objects without any description of the error.Is there a way to get error descriptions or something that may indicate how to get this working?

I am working to identify customers device sharing behavior, where user can login with two different credential on the same device. We have concept of "customer id" which is used in identity-map on top of ECID and wondering if we can create segment: where "customer id" > 1 for same ECID. Any though or idea will be helpful.

Hi Guys, What the best way to replicate AEP segments from one sandbox to the other? I have tried APIs but then if you create a segment using API, it does not allow you to edit it in the UI designer. I have even tried manually copying the segment code using the code view but that is read only. I can copy it but I cant paste it to the other side. I looks like the only way to copy a segment is manually creating them using the Segment Builder. Anyone with any ideas? Regards,Adeel

Hello all, Could some one help me with how to integrate AEM with Adobe launch via AEM IMS Configuration using the locally generated key by agency rather than AEM certificate generated using AEM IMS config console.This is a requirement and adobe also recommends this but there is no option in AEM - IMS console

Hello Experts, Hope everyone is doing well! Since there's a privilege to collect and host web & app analytics data in Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), I would like to know the advantages and repercussions of doing so. As always, most of the marketing use cases would require behavioral data for segmentation or campaign performance analysis, importing digital analytics data into AEP is inevitable. So, in those scenarios, storing data in Adobe Analytics and then importing it into AEP with a separate setup (schemas and data sets) and latency, seems like a long route, I'm assuming. As a result, I would like to see prespectives from Experts here, as some of us would have already go through this critical decision.  Thank you in advance!Kishore

Hi,I have webpages which has contenttype Blogs as data object in digital data layer. And, in analytics when I am building segment with filters like Page contain contentType = blogs then the numbers on traffic metrics like Unique visitors is coming up less in comparison to if i am pulling pages directly as shown below.  Any suggestions How to fix this? Why this is happening? Thanks
