Hello Folks! I am facing a weird issue. Have implemented Web SDK to capture AA data. I am using processing rules to populate many eVars and props. But to my surprise none of processing rules were firing and all my custom variables had no data. I found that an overall condition ("implementationDetails.version" which is an OOTB XDM value) for the processing rules, did not meet and hence no rules fired. I tried with "web.webPageDetails.name", same result. I change the processing rule condition to a custom XDM value that I defined and they seem to be working fine.My hypothesis here is the variables which are automatically mapped to AA which are defined here - https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-platform/edge/data-collection/adobe-analytics/automatically-mapped-vars.html?lang=en#data-collection is not available in processing rules. (But in the documentation it is not mentioned and in fact some examples use these). Anyone else facing this issue or any workarounds her

our network is locked down and we need to do a request to security to unblock external endpoints. For our mobile developers to dev/debug on their macbooks- what is the complete list of domains / subdomains /urls that need to be unblocked so they can connect 100% to Adobe's new mobile experience platform.This is urgent request as Adobe customer care have not responded in over a week and we urgently need to unblock the relevant domains. 

On idea: I'd like more control over how and when data elements are evaluated. Issue:You have a data element that accesses an object/property: "page.name[0].length"If that object or property doesn't exist (or you know it will show up later), JS throws undefined errors as soon as the page loads. Idea:If I could say something like "delay initial execution" - and in theory what it would do is only evaluate the DE when it's called upon in a rule, that might help.  The rule could be based on a Custom Event or a Direct Call, where I know the object is present

Hi, When setting up an SFTP data source and making a connection, AEP appears to connect only to the lowest level (/) directory. Is there a way I can instead have it go to the default directory? The problem I have is that a directory level between the lowest level and where I need to get to has a restricted permission setup that can't be altered and I can't navigate through to where my files live.At least, I don't know how to. If someone knows what I'm talking about and can advise a solution, that would be great! For example, I need to navigate to /home/cli/target_folderBut /cli doesn't allow access so through the AEP UI, I can only get as far as /home Thanks in advance!  

I have a schema design question for Adobe Experience Platform.As a user might have multiple email addresses. And I have two different source databases in each of those the same user might have signed up with a different email address. I have another CRM user identifier that tell me those two emails are the same person.Is it better to use a Schema for each source. So I have two separate email fields, with different structure, that do not get merged in the union profile if they are different.Or have two separate email address fields in the same schema that then might have the same address. with two imported datasets.Or is it possible to import them into an array field into the same schema from two datasets with the array being filled correctly? So 1 email -> array length = 1. Two different emails -> array length = 2What are my best options here. When would you recommend using multiple Profile Schemas in AEP?

I'm trying to create a test service, using the example request in the docs here: https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/campaign-standard/using/working-with-apis/managing-services-and-subscriptiopns/creating-a-service.html.  Using postman, I'm sending a post to (changed the org ids etc.): https://mc.adobe.io/1234567890ABCDEF@AdobeOrg/campaign/profileAndServices/service/with a json body:  { "label": "Test Service", "messageType": "email", "name": "test_service", "start": "2020-07-28" }  I've got the right headers of the authorization and x-api-key etc.  However, I'm getting back a 400 error:  {"error_code":"400051","message":"No match in backends for the given tenant id."} What does that mean? How can I approach this?

We have a situation where the public part of the website is running on one platform (AEM) and the logged in version is running on something different (Java plus a bunch of other stuff).  As we implement Launch we would like to use two properties to keep things organized and because they will be managed by separate teams. However, there is data we would like to keep in data elements from one site to the other.  Is this possible if we create the same data element in both properties or do we need to use some form of local storage? Thanks

Hello guys,  In the case, I do not have data science workspace in my AEP. I have the following questions:1) Can I still use Dynamic Stiching as Profile Service?2) Can I still use ML/AI to create insights/segments?3) Can I still create derived dataset from datalake as result from dataset A and dataset B?4) Can I still access to datalake data?5) Any impediments regarding testing? Do we have any other important impediments without data science workspace?

Hello all, Cracking more into our implementation of alloy.js with a goal of replacing all of the legacy Adobe libraries...Right now we use at.js and make a call to getOffers() with some parameters to retrieve eligible activities/experiences. Then we call applyOffers() to  execute them. I'm have a difficult time trying to get this to work via alloy.js.
