Is there Any limitation of AEP Mobile SDKs & Adobe campaign Standard Mobile App channel in terms of mobile development platform supported and where the Mobile App is hosted ?

Hello, We have an Adobe Target use case we are trying to solve for and hoping to get some clarification and assistance. Use Case – On our secure site, we want to show a pop up box with personalised message based on logged-in User’s attribute. The attribute we want to personalise by is circled in red in screen grab below. We are planning to use the lightbox experience template as mentioned in documentation below for the pop uphttps://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/target/using/experiences/vec/modifications/experience-templates.html?lang=en#section_EF4FBA08CE55407CAFB334340C6C1577 What we are stuck on is, how to serve different experiences based on the attribute? We believe we can use Audiences to serve different audiences, but that will mean creating whole bunch of audiences. Is there a way to dynamically serve experiences for the different attribute values? Please advise.

Hello Adobe Analytics,Quick Question,Has anybody tried to use a trackAction and trackState simultaneously on mobile apps ?I need to get to know the name of the page (screen / state) the action is launched.I've never tried this before, but we are having some trouble with this , and I'm not sure this is feasible - since for me those methods are 2 very different things.If not, I guess it's still possible to send a context data with the name of the screen on the TrackAction, like on DTM with Custom links for getting to know the pageName where these come from.Or vice versa, do a TrackState with a contextData on the event.Our need is the following  :We have a placed the trackaction call on the Login screen to capture the login success event. Also on Order Placed Success screen we have placed the trackaction call for the order placed success event. Because of which we are not getting pageview for these screens. We came across this issue today: We have a rule that is supposed to be triggered by the DOM Ready event together with the condition of finding a specific string in the URL. The only action is 'Set Variables' using custom code. This is followed by 'Send Beacon' and 'Clear Variables'. If we set 'Send Beacon' to s.t() all works fine. But since we want to treat the rule as hit, we would like to use s.tl() instead. However, if we do that, the rule isn't triggered. It was my understanding that this change shouldn't make a difference, but I guess I was wrong. Can someone help me to understand this behavior?

Hi everyone, I am now working on implementing new tracking requirement on one site via Launch. Our rule is triggered by custom event and sent as s.tl(). However, it shows the error message in console - Failed to execute  "Send beacon". (see below)I have searched several previous discussion. --> some say it can be caused by not updated AA extension--> it is updated.--> some say it can be caused by not updated Experience Cloud ID extension-->it's updated. At the same time, the rule "Migrated from DTM: Adobe Analytics - Send Beacon on every page" is fired and sent the beacon without the same error message.But the tricky thing is that I saw no network request, either. I am thinking whether it is caused by an outdated plugin? We are still using the same setting that we did several years ago (from DTM period).  It would be great if someone can give me some hints/direction to troubleshoot. Many thanks, Yu

Hi everyone!Is there any performance benefit from deleting rules after disabling them? It's easy enough to filter out disabled components, but I wondered if the performance of Launch is compromised at all by having over 100 disabled rules and over 200 disabled data elements.

The migration under scope has these elements :1) Adobe Mobile Service which sends lifecycle metrics, tracking state and tracking action.2) SDK IOS and SDK AndroidConsidering the mentioned context, I have the following questions:1) How can I make an assessment over SDK, currently it is managed by another team?2) How can I use  Mobile Services Extension to migrate 4.x SDK functionality?3) What must be migrated from SDK V 4.X to AEP SDK by considering Adobe Mobile Service sends custom variable to AA?Thanks

Hi All,I am new to mobile analytics.  We are upgrading from SDK 4 to SDK 5 (Mobile AEP SDK) I havew a couple of questions that I hope someone can help me with?We already have context variables being sent from the SDK 4, I have created the mobile property, added the necessary mobile extensions including Adobe.  My questions are:1.  Do I need to create data elements and rules to attach the SDK 5 data or will the data continue to be sent to Adobe analytics, without intereference from me?2.  Do we still have to use processing rules to map this data to exisiting eVars and props, or could this be done in the attach data event in a rule within Launch? Many thanks.

I have a question regarding to sending non-sensitive user information with collectPii method. As per Adobe documentation, collectPii method should use for sensitive information to prevent Adobe sharing this info within itself and 3rd Parties. This data is required to send push notification as user identifier. Do we have any other option or collectPii is a way to go? Thanks

hi @joerghoh we have a project added a new folder, and make a new package to install at new server, but we find after finish install we just can see the path structure, but every path cannot render content.  meanwhile if we copy the content to any new path that create by author server (http://localhost:4503/siteadmin#/content), every path can render at author server! so we unzip the package find the .content.xml under the new path in the content install package  is <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><jcr:root xmlns:cq="http://www.day.com/jcr/cq/1.0" xmlns:jcr="http://www.jcp.org/jcr/1.0"jcr:primaryType="cq:Page"><xxx/></jcr:root> seems miss something, usually cq:Page may have a jcr:content node ,but this file have not, may I know  must add jcr:content node when  jcr:primaryType="cq:Page"?thank you!!! 

Hi,everyoneI have code like <sly data-sly-use.clientlib="/libs/granite/sightly/templates/clientlib.html" data-sly-call="${clientlib.css @ categories=['XXXX','YYYYYY']}" /> these code can import  css file normal at AEM6.1, but after upgrade to AEM6.5, these code just can import css file normal at author server,  cannot import css file at publisher server, so cannot see the css style at the result page. anyone know what happen? thanks!

I am currently rebuilding a site's analytics code from scratch and for link tracking, the current implementation relies on CSS selectors with data- attributes. I've used this method in the past, but this makes me reliant on front-end changes, and could be liable to break during any new release. In the past, I've also used custom events passed to me through the front-end, but then that also makes the Launch implementation even more reliant on front-end releases (but less likely to break), thereby circumventing the whole notion of a tag manager. Thoughts? Thank you in advance

We are seeing an Issue in AEM 6.4.8 where we are trying to Rollout a full update and a dependent copy through Touch UI where the changes are visible only in full update copy and not in dependent copy. Please see these two snap shot to see the difference of classic vs touch in the same project. is there any way we can achieve the same update in touchui? 

Hi,On anchor tag click function we use event.preventDefault() to prevent the link from opening. This was working fine so far. Recently, we migrated from DTM to Launch and from then the preventDefault method is not working.In the below sample when we click on the "test page" link it should not change the URL. But it is changing the URL to "#testpage". In the same page please remove the adobe script and run. Hello,I've been updating some rules and libraries in Adobe Launch today and got stuck with this error:The "Core" extension has been upgraded on this property. The upgraded version must be included in this library by selecting the "latest" revision. Add it to your library, then rebuild. It worked for a while but when I got to publishing my changes to production I got stuck with this error no matter what I do from now on. Editing rules, list of rules in the libraries, creating new libraries and deleting the not working ones doesn't help. And I am absolutely positive the latest revision is selected in the library I am trying to build. And I get the same error even if the library is kept empty. What's more even other libraries that I have not touched are suddenly not working either. Any ideas what does this error mean and how to fix this?Appreciate all help I can get. In Adobe Launch, I want to limit serveral pageloads.I've set up a rule with an Event.In State I can use different options.One of them is contains.If I want to add different pages, how do I separate them?Is it witjh comma or point comma or. For example:contains page1, page2, page3contains page1; page2; page3Does there also has to be a space behind the comma/point comma? Tx

I could see iOS new M1 support but I could not make it work on Android Emulator M1. Are there some updates to come or maybe a code to bypass errors?
