Can Adobe Launch take a value from the query string, encrypt or obfuscate that value and push the encrypted/obfuscated value to Adobe Analytics?If so, how?How would be decrypt/un-obfuscate those values stored in Adobe Analytics?Thanks

I'm trying to track visitors from a native app (in iOS and Android) into a WebView. Following the guide the URL is appended with `…com/?adobe_mc=TS=1234567890%7CMCMID=12345678901234567890123456789012345678%7CMCORGID=ABC12345678901234567ABC%2540AdobeOrg&app=android&version=x.x.xx`. On the WebView side we have Launch with the Experience Cloud ID Service plugin. In the troubleshooting guide it states "My mid is not identical in my app to my web view" but I'm not sure how to validate this. Is the mid the same as the Marketing Cloud Visitor ID? For us, they're not, which makes me wonder whether I need to check for the existence of MCMID in the adobe_mc and manually overwrite it?

Hi guys, I'm migrating my iOS app from the Adobe Analytics to the Adobe Experience Platform.Previously I used ADBMobile.collectLifecycleData(withAdditionalData: ) to provide some additional data. Which API should I use to achieve the same result in the AEP?I see there is the ACPCore.lifecycleStart(data) which I'm calling in the beginning when I'm initializing the library. But what if I need to provide additional data later on?

Hi all,in Adobe Launch I have defined a data element that should be set with a javascript variable on source page of the website.When I call on browser console _satellite.getVar('MY VAR') it returns null, even if the javascript variable is defined and populated.After several tests it seems that I can retrieve my data element value only defining it as a custom code type with a return statement like this: if(MY JAVASCRIPT VARIABLE) return MY JAVASCRIPT VARIABLE;elsereturn ""May someone help me understand why? Thank you

Hello,  I'm trying to implement tracking that identifies right click vs left click on a type of link to answer questions regarding a modal flow.   I need to determine if the user clicked on the link with a right click, left click, or other (middle, back, etc.).  I've been attempting to use event.button to refer to the mouseEvent in the custom code section in the action "Adobe Analytics - Set Variables", but it doesn't appear to be returning any value. Event type that triggers the rule is a  "Mousedown" for the CSS selector "a[target='_generic-interstitial']" configured as shown below: However, when this rule fires, I notice that the value for event.button appears to be unspecified upon reviewing the beacon set.  Is this supported inside the "Mousedown" event type?Thanks!

Our app dev teams are struggling to find a way to implement the AEP Mobile SDK Privacy service alongside Adobe Campaign.Our app has preferences that are collected from a user via a control panel. These determine the type of push notification they wish to receive. They are sent to Adobe Campaign Standard using collectPii.When the Privacy status is changed to OPT_OUT, we need to update a flag to ACS to stop push notifications going out before setting the Privacy Service to be OPT_OUT. The reason for this is documented in a previous thread, but in summary if we don't then we end up with a disembodied subscribed application in ACS and no means of updating push notification preferences. We want to turn all push notifications off at this stage.The problem is that when we call collectPii and then immediately set Privacy to OPT_OUT, the collectPii request doesn't complete and commit to ACS.Any thoughts about how to make Adobe Privacy work nicely with marketing Consent management?This is hinder

When I try to import csv into AEP with batch ingestion API receive below error :  A required field <sandboxname> of type: object is missing from the input data. Add the required field and try again.The field: <sandboxname>.<csv field name>does not exist in the target schema. Remove the field and try again. Ingestion goes well if I do it with UI.thoughts please.....
