Adobe Experience Platform

I have migrated properties from DTM to Launch, and when doing so, I always have a host for each environment. When I create a new property and have it hosted by Adobe, do I also need to create a host for each environment?

Some Background My organisation migrated to Adobe Launch from Adobe DTM in 2019. There are typically 3-4 people working on the same Property at any given time. In DTM, our "rule" for editing was:  do not edit any Resource (Rule, Data Element, etc.) where "Status" is "Unapproved" In essence, this enforces the idea that an Approved change to a Resource can only come from a single Editor at a time. Adobe Launch When we started working with Adobe Launch, we assumed there was no longer any need for "manual" rules like our DTM example, because the separate DEVELOPMENT environments would keep changes to a single Resource on different "branches" (to borrow a term from versioning systems). This assumption was proven to be wrong (everyone is always editing the same instance of each Resource, albeit creating new versions as they go), and the need for a manually-enforced approach is still there. I am looking for additional guidance around using Angulartics2 framework with the Launch, by Adobe provider to implement data collection for Adobe Analytics. Hi All, We have recently migrated our property from Adobe DTM to Launch. I have a direct call rule, in which evars and props are set using mapping at UI level in Launch, however events and products are set in the custom code of same section "Set Variables" under Action in launch. Now , the call to DCR has been written like this in code controller : try {      window._satellite.track('commonsPageLoad');    } catch (error) {      console.error(error);    } finally {      window.digitalData = {};    }Here, before DCR fully gets executet ,i.e., before image request getting fired , datalayer gets emptied from finally block. It results in loss of data , when image request is firedIs it due to custom code executing asynchronously ? Can anyone please help on this, what needs to be done.

I'm manually setting and submitting an array of document titles in custom code in Launch when a user executes an action. However prop47 isn't getting stored in analytics but it looks like it's getting set in both the Adobe debugger and the console. The data is correct but it's not getting stored. Prop50 is the same value (business requirement, don't bother asking why the duplication) and it is working. Hello, I'm starting to use launch to implement Google Analitycs pixel by using adobe launch rules. I'd like know if it's possible to actually see the pixel ID number by using the gtag extension?  By now in the console I can see that launch is working, and I can see all the rules there but can't see the pixel ID number. Hope you can help me, thanks!  

Hi Team,AEM 6.3 is our web framework and we used to insert the Launch code by adding a component, please find below screenshot for reference. In the previous version of Launch extension (v1.4.2), the script looks like (<script src="//assets.adobedtm.com/launch-EN1821a583a47f4a5098fff8a489c60c0b-staging.min.js" async></script>), however, in the current version (v1.6.2), the script is different with addtional params added which is highlighted in red color(<script src="//assets.adobedtm.com/0e8da62b9d32/c95dd86dde95/launch-bb260aaa8508-staging.min.js" async></script>). Hence, if we add the launch key by using the component in AEM 6.3, it doesn't take the code which displays before launch, please find below screenshot for reference. And it displays 404 error as the code is not assimilating the launch code generated at Adobe Launch console. In Adobe Launch – if we have rules/tags that we want in production but don’t want active in Staging is that possible to do with only one “property” where we migrate from dev -> staging -> production?  We don’t want the tags in staging because they go to the vendor if people are testing them and that skews true production results – we only want in staging to test, then promote to production and then disable just from staging.             

Hi, we have a couple of (migrated from DTM) data elements using the "getQueryParam" function, using the Common Analytics Plugin this function is loaded together with the library, but when the rule containing the data element with custom code where this function is used fires, we encounter the following error:Failed to execute data element module core/src/lib/dataElements/customCode.js for data element customernumber. _satellite.getQueryParam is not a function TypeError: _satellite.getQueryParam is not a function at Object.source Anyone else using this plugin and have some insights to share about getQueryParam function?

Does anybody else find that they have to constantly log-in to Adobe Launch?It frequently causes error messages and reloading of the page.

With the migration to Adobe Launch, the ionic developers must change our apps to change to the new Adobe Launch platform. Is there any instructions to switch to the new Adobe Analytics Launch in ionic? Thanks a lot

Due to legal reasons we cannot use the CDN to get our launch scripts. So we download the generated files with the archive option in the environment. I'd like to track video events on a YouTube video I have embedded on our site, and I'd like to do it through the YouTube Embed extension. So far I've set up the rule event like this, and I've added the appropriate Analytics variables and beacon call: I also appended the enablejsapi=1 param to the youtube url, but I'm still not seeing the analytics calls firing. Would this have anything to do with the fact that the video iframe is loaded through an overlay on the page? If so, what is the solution?Is this because I have to include a media module and custom calls in the extension, similar to the way I do it in DTM? Please advise.

In GTM, it's usually by replacing the var name with {{var name}}. How do I do in this Adobe launch?I have a custom JS that's simply not reading directly from the console log. Do I need to do this in Adobe Launch or if in AA settings, where can I get this done?

We have recently started the DTM to Launch migration process. Although our rules are firing and we can see them on console, the image request itself is not visible. We have checked under the Networks tab and Omnibug. Is there anything we are missing out on?

Hi everyone!Is this possible in Launch? It was in DTM.Also, when it comes to deploying the test to a custom named mbox can you use the VEC or just the form composer? I can't find the option to specify an mbox in a test using VEC.

Over time the amount of various rules created in Launch can get out of hand and knowing what rules no longer run can be a daunting task. Even more frustrating are the rules transferred from DTM to Launch and needing to know what rules no longer apply. We know that in debug mode, a log churns out in the user's console that includes all the activities done by Launch _satellite code in real time. I feel the entire community of Launch users would love to see a reporting tool internal to a given Launch property that simply illustrates the usage count of rules that are current and rules that are deprecated. The date range of this reporting could be limited to thirty days. That should be plenty time for every given aspect of a site to be hit and know what rules are running. Any rules with zero fires could then be safely disabled and/or deleted. I feel this is a fairly straight forward ask. I do not feel this upgrade applies to data elements.
