Hi,We have implemented Vista rule for a web property in DTM. Can we use that rule to another property in launch.

The default session timeout in Adobe Analytics is set to 30 minutes. Is there any rule that I can use in Adobe Launch to fire an event when a session timeout occurs? How can I structure this?Thanks.

Hi ,Recently we migrated from DTM to Adobe Launch. For Debugging purpose I am using "Adobe experience debugger"(chrome extension) third party extension and "dataslayer" extension(third party tool chrome extension).On page load, I have observed in the browser console :  "Dataelements" error of "cannot read the property", and also when type digitalData , it is showing undefined.When I remove the above mentioned extensions , no console errors are showing up and datalayer is loading properly.Is there an connection among Launch "asyn script" , datalayer and extensions.Is this an third party extensions issue??Thanks in advance for your replies.

In Rules > Events, is it mandatory to have an action?If I leave this blank but set up a Condition > Page Path without query string matches regex "/product", should I be able to fire events based on such a rule?

Hi Guys,My client wants to migrate from DTM to Launch but they want to use the same DTM prod embed code in launch by creating production environment in Launch.I have already created new production environment in launch using DTM embed code but while publishing it I am creating New Library using prod environment(which i have created using DTM prod embed code) I am getting this environment as inactive in new library dropdown list.Prod Environment using DTM prod Embed code.Getting Prod Environment(Embed code copied from DTM prod Embed code) Inactive while creating New Library.Please suggest to do the needful.

Hi,I have a carousel that I'd like to track via the name of the carousel frame as an eVar and counters for number of clicks on them.The data elements are straight forward in reading from digitalData. In my rule, I have eVar19 set to capture the carousel name and event12 as the counter.If you see the below screenshot, you see event12 once for the first eVar "amazing deals" but when I click on the next carousel, event12 is shown twice? Any particular reason why event12 would fire twice on the second click.My data elements are NOT set to storage of pageview. These have no storage.Thanks.

Good afternoon all!I'd like to implement launch on an iOS app. Basically at this stage all I want to do is receive information about what they clicked an what page they were on! I've got to the point where the app and launch library are connected. Now I need to add rules and data elements. Key questions are:1) What should the data element type be? Both for the page name and link tracking?2) In setting up the rule, what should the event be fired on? - A trackstate, trackaction?!Also, if anyone has found any documentation for setting this sort of thing up if be grand if you could share. Can't say I've found too much documentation which was been that helpful.Thanks!

There is DTM being used on a site. Could Launch also be on the site at the same time? And would data collected from Launch go into a separate report suite?

Hello,We are using a custom JavaScript inside AEM DTM to track the timings of the page loads.The custom script uses the performance.timing objects and looks like this:return performance.timing.loadEventEnd - performance.timing.navigationStart; The value is stored in a evar and prop (we tried both).This works fine when we test it in the console (satellite debug enabled), but when we inspect the value delivered by the DTM custom script, we end up we a negative number, because the loadEventEnd is 0.We tried different approaches with onLoad, domReady, ... page rules, all with the same result.Any help is much appreciated!Thanks.

I've set up data elements, global variables and rules in Adobe Launch on a new site. I'm sending it to a test report suite to test tracking before we go live, but I can't get any of the data to go in. We are pulling in all of our data from the pathing/query string parameters in the page url because they didn't set up a data layer. The debugger is detecting Launch and pulling in Page Info, and I've set Adobe beacons on all my rules and published. What else do I need to do to get the data going into reports?

Hi,I've noticed some of the DTM rules are not firing in Firefox v67 and I do understand Firefox has this new privacy policies against trackers but strange part is that not all the rules are blocked.Currently, some of the DCR are blocked,for example I've 2 DCR to be triggered on click but only one executes. I can see satellite notification saying rule is fired but its analytics call is being blocked for some reason. We are seeing traffic lose for visitors how are using Firefox as some rules have filed to execute.Any suggestions and work around is greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.AbdulSamad

In our Adobe Launch rules I often use the innerText on elements such as buttons. Although our website is UK only, we frequently get customers accessing our website from abroad and translating the page. My innerText is therefore sent to Adobe Analytics in a variety of languages. I wondered if anybody had found a good way round this?There are obviously a few options like a lookup table...but none that seem particularly easy.Any ideas?

I want to deploy various plugins such as:getTimeParting,getDaysSinceLastVisit,getLoadTime,getPercentPageViewed in Adobe Launch.I am adding this in Configure Tracker Using Custom Code in Adobe Launch inside /* Plugin Config */s.usePlugins=trues.doPlugins=function(s) {    /* Add calls to plugins here */}But it is stopping normal Event based rule and Page load rule to send Adobe Analytics Beacon call. Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.

Can someone explain how to custom configure launch to capture downloaded brochures?  I would like to track what they downloaded (evars, events and possibly props)  Pictures are welcome.  BTW, Adobe Analytics is capturing the downloads, but I want to add them to custom events/vars

We are bound to a rather strict rulset regarding data security. Adobe Analytics seems to not cater for these modern needs as it propagates values in parameters where you can't control the values:activityMap: The most annyoing and dangerous feature which we hopefully should be able to disable through the UI soon.r: as long as you don't use the no-referer header this can contain dangerous data (if the referer is a badly build website with PII in the url)g: similar to r, but here at least we have a little bit control over the website and should enforce to not have PII in the urlpev1: Exit Links and Download Links always propagate this Link URL parameter with the href of the a tag that triggered the event. Even if you don't use the automated link tracking from the Analytics Extension.
