I have a site that we're moving from GTM/GA to Launch/AA. We are attempting to use some of the events and variables from the current data layer to avoid new development work; however, I'm struggling to reference the data layer successfully in Launch.Below is an example of what I'm working with. In GTM, I would simply set up a custom event for the "virtualPageView" event and capture the "virtualUrl" as a variable. I'm sure this is doable in Launch as well, but I'm struggling to figure out how to reference these elements and use the event as a rule to fire my pageviews.Here is how I'm trying to format my event/rule in Launch. What am I doing wrong?? Is it the element? If so, what should it be? Should I be referencing the event like "dataLayer.virtualPageView"? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Team, While hitting "Upgrade to Launch" button from DTM, I getting following error: Upgrade to Launch failed. Could not create the 'Production' environment correctly. Hi guys. We are trying to send multiple Adobe Analytics events at a time (via Direct Rule) and what we've seen is that these events are queued and then executed all at the same time (with the data elements of the last one). Is there any way to send the events one by one immediately (synchronously) after they've been triggered?Thanks a lot for your help!

Hi there,I am using DTM and I wanted to create a data element using the  value from an url parameter.If the url is testpages.com?id=123 I would like to geht the "123" as value for my data element.I assume I need to apply a custom script but I do not know how to writ it. Hey Guys, I am deploying Adobe Analytics in Launch for my client. I encounter a weird problem. Take look at the column 2 and 3 in above image. Column 2 coming from a global rule (set evar 1 and evar 16), which I trigger the s.t() function to send beacon and clear variable. Column 3 coming from "Consent Cookie" rule (Only set event 54 without evar 1 and evar 16) which I trigger the s.tl() to send beacon. I clear the variable in the global rule, but it looks like the "Consent Cookie" also carry the evar 1 and evar 16. My question is whether "clear variable" will trigger immediately when called? Hi,Actually I have a data layer set in the parent page, from which I have created the data elements in the DTM webproperty. Also I am using those data elements in the Direct call Tag which is currently getting invoked from the Iframe page. The Iframe page was not able to access the data layer values as it was defined in the parent page. Can anyone suggest a way to access the dataelements/ datalayer from the Parent page level to Iframe level?Thanks in Advance!Sundhara M.

I have multiple buttons of same name on different pages and i want to track these buttons click in one rule. so, can i use multiple selectors in Element tag section to track these buttons. All the buttons have different selectors (having same button ids and different div ids). or any other way to do it please suggest.(i am using single page application)

Hi All,I have captured mobile app page name (tracked using trackState) and it is assigned in an evar. I have also captured action link name using trackAction, assigned in evar again. I want to know what all links user has accessed on a particular page. So,when I am trying to breakdown page name by action name, the action link names are getting persisted to the next pages. Hence, breakdown report of a particular pagename consists of action link names of previous page as well. Does it have to do with the persistence value we set in mobile services? I tried to set it as "tracking call" - the it doesn't give data in breakdown, and as "Session" -  it gives data persistence problem.Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks in advance !

As the title says, I am looking to include the Page Name when calling trackAction(action:data:) from the iOS Mobile SDK version 4.17.0. It looks like this is possible from the Web SDK, but I don't see a way to do this from iOS. Is there a specific context data key that I can set?

Hello,I have configured a Link tracking - Direct call rule in Adobe Launch, In the Set Variables - custom code section I am configuring the eVars and Props and I have added a send beacon function. In Network tab, I am able to see the Adobe analytics Image Beacon but eVars and Props are missing. Only pageName, g, r and CC are seen in the Image request. For Debugging, I changed the Send Beacon to s.t(), I am able to see all the variables. Also, If I manually call the s.tl() function inside the set variables custom code I am able to see the beacon with all the eVar and prop Variables. What could be the reason for this?Thanks in Advance,Vijay.

I'm trying to figure out if there's a way other than custom code to implement List Variables in Launch.  I found the following walkthrough for doing this in DTM but it seems like if Launch is going to be the future of Adobe's Analytics tag management, setting this type of variable should be no different than the setting eVars and sProps. How to fire list variables in s.tl() call using DTM Any ideas?

We disabled all the automatic link tracking options in the analytics extension. Though now I found that a link text is still tracked with a "link" parameter even though it is a custom link triggered by a direct call rule. Can this somehow be disabled?

Hello - To report on time spent between two events on iOS, I implemented trackTimedActions. I used the metrics "Action Time In App" and "Action Time Total" but having trouble understanding the difference between the two metrics. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Team, Hope you’re doing good !!  One of our sites has a DTM implementation We are facing issue with the data Elements created are not working when I debug by using the satellite object _satellite.getVar(‘errorCode’) & _satellite.getVar(‘abc’). But, when I debug on console with hardcode the JS object is fetching the value.Ex: digitalData.error.errorCode=’404’;Thank in Advance. Appreciate you're help!!Best Regards,Balakrishna

Does anybody know if Adobe Launch automatically handles the setting of linkTrackVars and linkTrackEvents for s.tl() calls?I thought the Adobe Analytics Extension might have some way of handling this by couldn't see anything that told me either way.I could write some custom code to be executed, but was unsure if this was the intended/recommended way in which this should be handled?Any help much appreciated!

Hi,I'm fairly new to DTM, and believe I'm close to figuring out how to add an event to track clicks for a section on a page.  I'm trying to track clicks in the "Featured Panduit Products" section of www.panduit.com.  I created a "Featured Product Clicks" dimension (Event Based Rule), however the name of the event seems like it defaulted to the name "Error Page Message".Also, should this be created as a Metric instead of a Dimension?My original post can be found here:  DTM Tagging I followed the directions provided by the response, but still cannot tag this section of the page.Any advice would be appreciated Thanks,Robert

Hi there, new to the group and hoping someone can help.I'm trying to implement Google CM ad server tags and they're broken out into global snippets & event, I set up the global snippet to fire on all pages (and this work) and at the top of the page while the event tag to fires on action (page load, button click, etc).  When I use the DTM debugger I see the event rule fire in the Chrome developer console's Console tab but I don't see the code actually execute and it's not tracked in the Network tab, is that normal? When I try to fire Facebook or other publisher tags it works just fine but for the life of me I can't get my Google CM tags to fire in the new gtag format.Those are the rules and both are implement as non sequential HTML tags.Thank you.
