Hello Community,I am looking to send event data to Facebook and want to better understand the most efficient and reliable method to do so. Specifically, I am trying to decide between using Event Forwarding and the Facebook Destination. Which method is more convenient in terms of setup, data accuracy, and performance and why? I went through the documentation part of both the approaches but could not find any differenceApproach 1: Destination Solution:Facebook connection | Adobe Experience Platform Approach 2: Event Forwarding to Facebook Conversion API Any insights or best practices from your experience would be really appreciated!

Hello All,Currently the below cookies are getting collected even before the user provides his consent through the one trust cookie banner . This is working due to the configuration in the AEP web SDK extension which is In - collect events that occur before the user provides consent preferences. How can we modify this setting via the custom data element option so that these cookies will occur only after the user provides his consent on the one trust cookie banner.   

I have the "Collect external link clicks" option enabled in my Web SDK extension. What I don't understand is how to access this data in CJA Workspace for reporting? Anyone know? Thanks!

Hi there,As we all know we have now new ruleset for the Streaming Segment Evaluation, As per that I have few query, can some one help me to clarify:Query 1 What if I have 5 attributes in my Streaming segment, and out of them 2 attributes are batch attributes and other 3 are Streaming attributes, Now should I create 2 segment here?Segment A - for Batch segment consist of all 2 Batch AttributesSegment B - for Streaming segment consist of all 3 Streaming attributes And Another third segment Segment C - Which will use Segment of Segment feature consist of the Segment A and Segment B Query 2: What if I have one existing Streaming Segment having Batch segment in it and some Streaming events and attributes in it?Do we need to create again separate segment for Streaming segment and both infuse both of them in another segment with feature of Segment of Segment Feature? Just wanted confirmation if my understanding is correct here or not?

Hello, Since SKU and classifications is being considered by this specific business too time consuming to maintain based on the amount of products and attributes, there is a discussion in about moving away from using a SKU in Adobe Analytics (and would think later when CJA is implemented) since there are product attributes already in the in the XDM object field and more can be added to different dimensions (evars in AA). On the other hand I also thought about using only SKU and not having to send all the values in the XDM object (thinking of load speed and simplicity) and later use classifications and even add more attributes and make it retroactive, if not too much level of effort. Is SKU still needed? we'd lose retroactive value loading option I'd thing but other vars still can be classified if needed even if not from the typical SKU (or tracking id) style value. Any implications for AEP/CDP in going either route? I think the best option is to look for optimiz

Yes, we know the current page Scroll Depth Tracking is present default while we using plugins, but these values are captured on the next page only. But We are required to implement Scroll Depth Tracking for the current page, if the customer is reached a particular percentage then we need to fire the events and need to capture the element values in eVar. We have single-page applications & more dependency on other teams.

Hi, I am creating two schemas individual profile and experience event schema and using loyalty_Id as identity in the both schema. Whether should I create single namespace for both the Ids or create two namespace to assign them separately?

Hi, recently we deleted some profile-enabled datasets from AEP UI (https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-platform/catalog/datasets/user-guide#delete). Still the changes in license usage metrics is not reflecting. How soon can we expect it to see the data volume metrics reduce.

Hi, I have two dataviews: a main one with created dimensions and a secondary one connected to the main dataview. I would like to be able to activate as dimensions in the secondary dataview those that are already active in the main one via CJA API. Is this possible?

Hi all, in this interface in AEPabout datastream mapping: I'm trying to have a IF THEN ELSE condition. My goal is to have the value of data.pageUrl mapped to prop5 only if xdm.eventType = web.webPageDetails.pageViewsSo I created a calculated field with the condition iif(${xdm.eventType}.equals("web.webPageDetails.pageViews"),${data.pageUrl},nullify()) But the output is not working as expected: not only the field mapped (prop5) is null, multiple others attributes also inherit of this. Hi, If we have some pages and content fragments (used for filters) tagged with certain tag values listed in the AEM Tag Console, and we no longer want those tags to be used or visible to authors, will unpublishing the tags in AEM Tag console cause any issues or breaks in the pages and content fragments experience that were already tagged with those values? Thanks,Shashank

With the new PCI requirements coming up, I was curious with what everyones plans were with their Data Collection integrations.Are you switching over to Self Hosting as opposed to Adobe hosting? Separating out your payment screens to avoid the concerns with SPAs?We're trying to determine which plan forward is the correct one - and I was curious what the Community was doing!

Is it possible to configure AEP (Launch) Data Collection rules to enable/disable a 3rd party extension? For example, when a user makes a cookie consent selection on site, can we trigger the enablement/disablement of the relevant extensions (ex, Google, LinkedIn, Meta advertisers)? If so, how can we do this? Any guidance is appreciated. Thank you.  Tom

Hi, I'm new to this forum, so am unsure if it's the right space to ask this question. When I was accessing an unrelated website today, I happened to notice from the taskbar that another activity was in progress. Opening it showed that Adobe was unilaterally trying to open my previously downloaded files! I had not initiated any action to open any pdf files, so I quickly terminated the tab. Fortunately, the latest downloaded files had been renamed, so it couldn't find them. Is it normal for Adobe to kick off such activities or has it been hacked? 

What might be included here?- manual upload through UI into dataset - external audience import?
