I want to use dynamic variables mapping to send the same value in a prop and a eVar. I have mapped a data element in the eVar and the prop with "D=v1".My problem is that the prop1="D=v1" is sent even when the eVar1 doesn't take value and is not sent.Is there a way to avoid that behavior other than coded it instead of use the configuration interface?Regards,

I'm seeing a problem in launch with my Analytics action order. If I:create a rule (click-based, FWIW)add the "Adobe Analytics: Set Variables" action (and add in my variables)save the rulere-open the ruleadd the "Adobe Analytics: Send Beacon" action to fire AFTER my Set Variables (s.tl, if that makes a difference)add the "Adobe Analytics: Clear Variables" action to fire AFTER my Send Beacon (I don't know if this makes a difference to my bug)... for reference, at this point my rule looks like this:save the rule...Then when I re-open the rule, view it in my library in my publishing flow, or view how the rule behaves in my environment, the action order has magically changed to "Send Beacon" FIRST, and my variables don't get set:This has happened three times to me now. If I remember to not save the rule until all three actions are added, it seems to be ok- but not if I add Set Variables, save, then come back in and add the other actions.Is this a bug? Does this happen to anyone else?

Every single time I try to comment on a pdf on my android phone I get the message : read only >save on local or cancel .However, I don't want to save it on local storage and make copies of file .All I want is the adobe change the file to read/write using BRUTE FORCE . I don't know how to make it do that!#files are in a synced folder using (Sync app)#I have no idea where the copy is saved when I choose save on local despite searching multiple times!

Can we use Adobe Dynamic Tag Manager to add canonical tags to specific pages on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)?If yes, then can you please let me know how. If not then, is there any other way?Regards

Hi team,My requirement is, in the head tag, will be loading adobe tracking js file..I don't wanna include assignment of digitalData object and calling of _satellite.pageBottom() in body tag...After the load of DOM, in another Js file, i will be doing assignment of digitalData and calling of _satellite.pageBottom()If i do it in this way, 2 times call is going to metrics...1st time from DomReady in adobe tracking js file..(by the time domready gets called, as there is no script of calling pageBottom in document)...its firing pageBottom....2nd time when i call in external js file...Can we eliminate DomReady call, So, that the call which i do in my js file will alone be calling pageBottom....The reason, why i do it in separate js file is, document title will be loading will be loaded dynamically in our application(not in the initial page load)...We change document load after DOM loading...So, we wanna assign digital Obj once document title gets updated...Can someone help me in this...

We are looking to use Adobe DTM to track usage in our Salesforce Lightning Communities, and we have hit an apparently insurmountable technical issue that is blocking the use of DTM (ie Salesforce blocks the creation of custom footers in Communities pages). Have any of you successfully used Adobe DTM to track usage in a Salesforce Lightning Community, and figured a way around this limitation?

Using the Experience Cloud Debugger, the tool will list AAM DIL on a site when there is only server side forwarding.  This can lead to false concern there could be double data collection of Analytics data to AAM.It would be ideal if the debugger could list when there is server side forwarding or at least distinguish the presence of the Audience Module from true legacy client-side DIL code.  Bonus would be if there could be an indicator when both the Audience Module and client side DIL is detected warning of possible double data collection.

Hi,We have a page where we dynamically load the dtm footer code and whenever this page loads, all the page load rules (with condition as fires at the bottom of the page) get fired twice. I am not sure what's happening here. This is only happening with the page load rules which get fired at the bottom of the page and all the other rules get fired as expected.Any pointers will be highly appreciated!Thanks in advance.

Clear VariablesAfter testing I see an Adobe Analytics request without any props or evars.And when looking at the published rule it looks like:1. Send Beacon2. Set Variables3. Hi there,I'm currently working on a new implementation for a client, where they have two different DTM properties in place for the same domain. The screen shot underneath here explains the logic. I'm assuming that DTM can hold data values across http and https. But after doing some thorough testing, I can see that an issue occurs when you are going from http to https during your session and at the same time the DTM property changes from "http - dtm property A" to "https - dtm property B". My main objective is pretty simple. Store a value when the user enters the website and use it on the confirmation page. In this example i'm storing from a url parameter. I'm defining the data elements with the url listening function found inside data elements. (this part works). on http:I'm then creating a page load rule with a custom javascript that is listening to _satellite.getVar("my unique url paramter"); and if it doesn't exist, nothing happens, but if it does exist, I create a cookie named "ref

Hi there,I just set up a simple page load rule in DTM to fire the the Google remarketing tag.I chose the following settings:- sequential html- trigger rule at top of pageThe rule basically works but unfortunately the tag is now fired twice. Does anybody have an idea how to fix this?Thank you.

Hello Adobe Community,I've been working with Adobe Analytics for some time now, but I've never been able to find a DTM process for implementing new tags easily.I an All page load rule (for counting page views on any pages).This rules take all the basic data elements defined on the data layer that should always be found (page name, button name, timestamp, etc..).The problem arises when there are "special" pages with more data that we would lik eto collect (for instance the Logging Page )These pages need new rules that will also trigger a new hit. In order to avoid that, I add conditions on my all page rule that stops this one of being fired so we don't have 2 hits. But sometimes this is really tedious since there can be many custom conditions to be added based on the navigation and hierarchy - and also , this is difficult to manage.So my question is, is this the usual approach to tagging with DTM ? I ve been thinking to add all the evars and props we track (even though not all the pages

Hi there,I just set up a page load rule. The only condition for this rule is that it is not triggered if a certain parameter exists. Unfortunately AEM only offers me the possibility to trigger the rule if a parameter is pressent. Can you tell me if it is also possible to prevent a rule from being triggered if a parameter exists?Thank you

Is there any impact if we do not use  _satellite.pageBottom() on pages with DTM implementation ? We are asked to use it, but even if we don't , the server calls are coming fine, even for rules defined on page bottom or direct call rule script called after _satellite.pageBottom().

Hi,We have recently implemented a direct call rule (which till trigger on each page load and configured as s.t() call) and configured few variables. when a page is getting loaded, in the console (using a debugger on) it says that the direct call is fired only once but I see two tags in ObservePoint/Omnibug/Charles. All the variables are same and the only difference is one tag has a referrer captured and another do not. Is this an issue (is it duplicating the total page views)? If so, how to fix this?Any help is appreciated.
