We are currently using Wordpress where we have a plugin to insert third party tags. There we can use shortcodes for parameters such as order id. E.g.:<img src="https://someurl.com/?c=stats&orderid=[orderid]" width="1" height="1">We need to move a lot of pixels from Wordpress to DTM and I'm looking for an easy way for Marketers to do it, without overwriting the code like this: document.write('<img src="https://someurl.com/?c=stats&orderid=' + _satellite.getVar('orderid') + '" width="1" height="1">');An easier way would be something like this (this time, the Sequential HTML would be used):<img src="https://someurl.com/?c=stats&orderid=<script>_satellite.getVar('orderid');</script>" width="1" height="1">It would be easier as you would need to replace the '[orderid] with '<script>_satellite.getVar('orderid');</script>' This however simply returns the '<script>_satellite.getVar('orderid');</script>' for the orderid parameter.

I have a clientlib that I call an 'aggregator' clientlib. It's sole purpose is to collect all of our front end component cllientlibs and send them in 1 request.For some reason, the minification that works with other clientlibs doesn't work on these types of clientlibs where there are no real javascript files. I've even gone in and created a javascript file to see if that would fix the issue by at least having a single javascript file in the clietnlib, but it does not.Has anyone had this problem? Hi,I have a jwplayer video inside an iframe on a page. Link -- http://www.barclays.com/barclays-careers.html The iframe and the parent page are not on the same domain. I am not able to use the standard html5 video events when the video is inside an iframe. However if the video is placed directly on the parent page the video events fire. Can you please suggest how to use DTM events when video is inside a cross domain iframe ?- Dhiraj

My "burning question" ....Is Dropbox an Adobe product or is the Adobe Document Cloud just another way to access Dropbox?  In other words do I have to go thru the Document Cloud to use Dropbox or can I go directly to Dropbox?

Recently there was a change to DTM that made it so values passed in 3rd party Non-Sequential HTML tags via the %data element name% method no longer work if the data element isn't explicitly defined in the data element rules.  This means you can no longer simply use setVar in a rule somewhere to define a value and read it in this way.This is having profound effects on how we typical handle marketing pixels.  Traditionally, we use either page load rules or direct call rules to define the "configuration" variables for marketing pixels, then make a call to that pixel (usually via a direct call rule).For example, let's say we have a single page application that has, for example, 50 different "pages" that can be seen by the user. Say a visitor clicks on a carousel item, do i need to capture the cookies first and call this cookie in my data elements before using it in either an event based or page load rule?I just want to track how many times an item has been clicked on and any visitors conversion. I thought putting this in an evar in an event based rule will do the trick or am I wrong?

I'm trying to add the Audience Manager tool to DTM, and integrate it with Analytics. On the tool config, there's an option to select "Integrate with adobe analytics", but a notice that says I need to provide custom page code to initialize the integrated tool. I can't seem to find any documentation on how to do this, what's the best approach here? If analytics were using an old s_code.js type implementation, then I think initializing the integration would look something like this:window.ustaDil = DIL.create({ ... //Sitecatalyst data collection var _scDilObj = s_gi('rsid'); DIL.modules.siteCatalyst.init(_scDilObj, window.ustaDil, { ...But in DTM I don't have direct access to either the s_gi function or the "s" object created from it. I tried passing the _satellite object as the first parameter to DIL.modules.siteCatalyst.init, but that didn't seem to do the trick either.

Is there an API (Java/REST) through which I can reliably determine to which segments a given user belongs? I do not see an obvious way in the documented REST API, but curious if someone is aware of an approach that will work. 

I'm trying to find out if it's possible to send data to multiple report suites from a mobile app like it is for a website.  I am going to be working on a project where we will want to send data for a specific call within the app to two report suites, but the rest of the time it will only be going to the primary suite.  I know this is possible on a website, but I was curious if this could also work on a mobile app implementation.Thanks in advance!

Hi, I am trying to track my social share icons in a custom script.. I have managed to captured the name of each of the icon clicked on but how do I set it to track to different events.I have events 8,9,10 set up in my Event based rule but need to add a custom script to e.g. set my Facebook Like to event8 and Tweet to event 9 and Pint it to event 10. I didn't want to setup separate event rules for this and thought there will be a way to track each icon to different events using 1 EBRi tried using if (s.event8) {s.linkTrackVars=s.LinkTrackEvents="_satellite.setVar('shareType',shareType[0].innerHTML),event8"s.addEvent('event8')console.log(s.events); but it doesn't seem to be working.. I just want to make sure that my FB Like is tracked to event 8, Tweets to event9  etc, instead of having all tracked to all the events set up in my EBR.Help!

I have a global page load rule set up via DTM to fire on every page (no conditions) that tracks a custom page view success event. However, using a debugger (ObservePoint), I can tell that this page load rule is getting called multiple times on a single page load which is inflating my success event. It seems that clicking on any link (download/outbound/internal) will trigger the page load rule. I also have event based rules configured for the same site for tracking clicks on forms/buttons - some use s.tl() tracking and some use s.t().My question is why is this happening and how can I keep the success events closer to the actual number of page views?

Hi,My custom variables calls seems to be returning values in upper case. How do I go about enabling this in DTM Adobe analytics.  For my event base rule i set my evar to %data element% for a clicked element linkname and I can see the value in uppercase on the debugger.Is there a plugin for this? Is there a way of enabling the Force lower case for custom variables calls and events or do i just set this variable by variable e.g. s.eVar10=s.eVar10.toLowerCase()?

Hello,I implemented the AppMeasurement PHP server-side code on one of our pages based on the examples in the document:  https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/sc/appmeasurement/php/c_imp_ex.htmlWhen looking at the debug file, I can see the request, which I copied into a browser and fires a beacon.  The issue that I have is that I'm not seeing the data in the Adobe Analytics UI.  If you have a way to either troubleshoot this or if you require more information, let me know.Thanks,Ridder H.
