Hi,I have a carousel with 6 links on the homepage and am trying to capture each link click. I have set up a data element using css selector to capture the classname i.e. [class=navname]I also created an event based rule with condition rule set to _satellite.setVar('Navigation' this.text) and added  an evar,prop and events . Issue is that this only works on the first click, and not the others. I need this to click on all the other links.I tried changing the rule to document.getElementsByClassName{'navname').click(); return true and it still only captures the 1st click and when i clicked on the others i get the link name for the first item returned for all the links.How do i get this to click on all of the classes named 'navname' and return the correct navigation title? I thought maybe i need to declare a variable or something in the code editor.please I need help as am just getting familiar with DTM

I am using Bloodhound version 3.1.1, am on a Mac (OS 10.11.5), my phone is on iOS 9.3.5 and am trying to use Bloodhound to see hits in an app we are working on. I have gone through the steps listed out here and was even able to see the screen they showed in the "Troubleshooting" section (see attached)Bloodhound used to work for me just fine but it seems that a few weeks ago it stopped working altogether and I am unable to get any hits to show up in the bloodhound interface. Any suggestions?

I am trying to correlate my exit link report wth page name and i keep getting Unspecified for the pagemames. Do I need to do something special to get this working?.From Page reports, I selected the page i am interested in and clicked on the correlate to exit link and I get taking to the Correlation Report with Unspecified as pagenames.I am trying to see the no of exit links from my selected page.

Hi team,We use Akamai for the redirection. We have to track the original URL before we do the redirection. We are checking with Akamai how to pull the original URL. We can pull the URL from backend c#. How can we set that variable as s.referrer. Any thoughts? Regards,Vidya

Hi,When user click on event based on href value need to find the Internal link or external link.In AppMeasurements i configured below settings in DTM .s.trackExternalLinks=true;s.linkInternalFilters='javascript:,dominname.com';Still i am not able to track the external links . Hi, I am using DTM to track exit links and I have "Track Outbound LInks" checked in the Link Tracking tab and also added my site.org in the "Never Track" box. In the dtm documentation it says to add # to the domain url which i did. i.e.I added my.site.com/# but i can see these Internal Links captured in the Exit Links Report. Do I remove the # or what do I need to do to stop this happening?I don't have any Link Tracking code in my s_code Library so that rules out any conflict.

In the condition of every rule we have the following scriptvar s = _satellite.getToolsByType('sc')[0].getS();s.clearVars();return true;The strange thing is that for pages with load times with longer load times (more than 4 seconds) we get the following error and the rule will not fire:SATELLITE: Condition for rule "AA: page load" not met. Error: Cannot read property 'clearVars' of nullHow can we fix this problem?*On each page load a rondomID is set in the dataLayer. We use this as trigger for the rule. Our site does not create User id etc. So I wanted to know if their was a way to create a visitor id or cookie in DTM so that each time a visitor comes to our site an id would be created so that it can be tracked in an evar and used for conversion.Is this possible? It definitely seems like it's something that DTM should be able to provide.

I am very new to DTM and am working on implementing Adobe Analytics in our staging environment. I am using just the base s_code, and am building things up a little at a time. I have some basic evars and props working fine, but I am currently having a problem where all internal links are being detected as external (everything is lnk_e), even though the subdomain is identical from link to link.I have "Track Outbound Links" checked in the Link Tracking tab, but nothing in the "Always Track" box.  Do I need to enter anything there?  I can't find any documentation for what that actually does.In Edit Property, I have only the single subdomain (call it stage.mysite.org) listed, and do not have "spans multiple domains" checked.In addition, in the DTM-hosted s_code, I have:s.trackExternalLinks=trues.linkInternalFilters="javascript:,stage.mysite.org"Do I have a conflict somewhere?  I don't really understand what I need to set in settings and what needs to be set in s_code -- and what overrides w

Hello,I want to capture different sections of the as page views when user scrolls to those sections.I am using "enters viewport" event to do so.Starangely, it works for the 1st time and my tag fires fine. But, when I revisit the section again, the event "enters viewport" does not fire.Any clue what am I doing wrong?Regards

Hi there,I am in the process of migrating an existing Adobe anlytics implementation on s_code version 27.5 to DTM.   The first step of the migration and what is in scope of the project is a pick up and shift job of the current s_code into AdobeDTM.The site has multiple JS files that house functions that need the 's object' to be initialised to work, however s is being initialised in the s_code contents after most of these JS functions have run so is throwing errors for 'S is not defined'.  It is not being initialised globally as it would be in a standard implementation.Is there a way I can initialise 's' in the DTM satellite library globally. I have tried to add var = s{}; a page load rule under third party/custom tags area but only having intermittent luck with it, where sometimes getting errors thrown.Any support/insight into this issue would be most appreciated.Thanks!

Hello,I've set up a rule that based on the change of a data element (page name) sets a event (search). Because the website is an SPA I've created direct rules for measuring 'page loads'. The problem is that the search event is being set in multiple images (in a custom link image and in the 'page load' image that is triggerd by the direct call) so that i'm recording 3 searches instead of one. The downside of the direct rules is that I can't use conditions so I do need to make use of a event based rule. I would like to set the event the same call as the direct rule or directly after. Does anyone knows what is going and if there is a solution?Regards, Guido

Hi -I'm working on figuring out how to track funnel metrics with Adobe Analytics/DTM when you have a static URL using a .aspx. In Google Analytics - I believe setting up virtual pages is a possible solution -- I'm not entirely sure how this works in DTM.How do I go about setting up the funnel tracking when the URL doesn't change as visitors go through the funnel experience?

Hi,Is there a way to get amount of time spent on form each fields.?  any recommendations. update: the below code seems to be working by getting the name of the field and field timing on the browser console. But, it doesnt seem to be working when i include this code in DTM. I could understand sine the page is not reloading and that's the reason it is not working. I have implemented the plugin for both previouspagename and % pageviewed on my site and this is working fine but how do i capture the no of users coming onto my site and abandoning without scrolling?Is there a way to do this in DTM without having to rely on the previous pagename being captured?  Help!!
