Hello,It doesn't appear to be available functionality, but I am new to DTM and would like to know if it may be possible to configure custom workflows in DTM?Our internal business process around DTM will essentially involve varied levels of "approver" involvement depending on the types of DTM rules created/submitted for approval (i.e. more thorough ITQA testing will be required for higher risk rules that involve custom code, whereas they won't need to be involved for what we consider simple low risk rules).It would be great if I could somehow configure custom workflows to funnel different types of requests (as defined internally) into the appropriate custom workflows.Thanks,Jason

Dear all,Link tracking is always a big question for web-analytics implementation in order to make sure click information are recorded.1/ Easiest solution is to add a timer on the link. However I wonder what is the best:Use DTM out of the box link activation delayAsk developer to hard code it (E.g: have a script to delay all links)2/ Alternative is to add a timer on outbound links (no choice for this) and track internal links on the next page.Which solution do you use the most? Is it as well a big preoccupation for you? Does people care in your organization about impact on user experience? Hi,for a DTM implementation on a jive system we need to fire Adobe Analytics tracking call until DOMReady is reached.We want to collect attributes and data from jive which seemed to be set asynchonous in DOM. At the moment Analytics it is fired most of tracking information is yet not set in DOM.Any idea how to tell DTM to execute Analytics tracking call when the jive object is ready?Thanks & Regards,Michael

I can't seem to find any documentation on the form that the custom script needs to be written for conditions on the page load rule. I'm trying to write a page load rule for my error page to set the pageType=error page. The rule is not loading at all from what I can tell. When I put the code from the condition into my console, I can see that my variable "myBool" fires as true, so my code is correct (I think!)For the condition, I am basing it on our H1 tag to identify the page (triggered at bottom of page):is404 = function () {    var myBool = false;    var myH1 = document.getElementsByClassName("hero-title")[0].innerHTML.toString();    if (myH1 == "The information you are trying to access has moved." ) {        myBool = true;    }    return myBool;}is404(); Then in the rule portion for Adobe Analytics, I am setting the custom page code to:var s= window.s||s;s.pageType=errorPage;

Hello DTM Experts,I am working on the DTM implementation and it seems to be going really well before I encountered this requirement to set the currency event (Ex: event10=4.55) for a event based rule.Any examples would be of great help.cheers,Scott 

We are in the process of evaluating DTM and one of the key issues that we see is that DTM requires different embedded code for Staging and Production sites.We do not want to embed the staging code on the pages in case it accidentally get pushed out to production site.We want to just use the production code while still have ability to test the rules, more in line with old Adobe Tag Manager where one can use cookie to test out the code.Any thoughts or best practices around this.

In DTM, I need to keep Adobe Analytics from firing on a particular page, but I still need the DTM code on the page.  How do you do that? For individual pageload rules, you can tick "Don't load Google Analytics on these pages," but that is not an option for Adobe Analytics.  Anyone have an idea of how to do it?

 We have an issue where we're not being allowed to use query string params for internal campaigns because of caching issues. Does anyone have any experience with using DTM (specifically data layer) to populate campaign IDs and assign to proper campaign types?

I'm struggling to properly configure an Event Click rule in DTM that will correctly deploy a Pointroll script.  Are there any resources available to support this particular scenario?  Has anyone successfully used DTM to deploy Pointroll? Thanks,Frank.

Hi Everyone, I've been using Sitecatalyst but am new to Dynamic Tag Manager (DTM). I have some basic questions just wonder if anybody can help me?1. Can DTM replace Adobe Analytics? In other words, there are some Adobe Analytics codes incorrectly implemented on the website before and now we are switching to DTM. Do we need to fix the existing Adobe Analytics codes, or can we just ignore them and DTM will do the job without Adobe Analytics?2. My understanding from the DTM user document is that DTM doesn't deliver data collected to anywhere unless you set up specifically. If that is the case, do I still see any reports if access from Adobe Analytics report interface?Thanks in advance.

All of my event based rules are firing beautifully, so I know the code is on the pages correctly, but none of my page load rules are firing at all.  We have a prop that captures all URLs upon page load that was in place prior to adding DTM to the site.  I set up a rule for an eVar to just copy that prop.  It doesn't fire at all, which is odd, because I asked for assistance from Adobe when setting that rule up.  It should fire on every page.As background, we've had SC code on our site for five years, I did check that Analytics code was already present.  Any reason this shouldn't be working?

Client is trying to fill the information for s.products through Dynamic Tag Manager. It is possible to find the information through JavaScript. However, client would like to find that information through data elements and insert this information in s.products. Is there a way to do this since there is no field for s.products in the Dynamic Tag Manager interface?

Hi Everyone,I am a bit confused on how the page behavior will be when we enable the option "Adobe Analytics page code is already present".Currently i have a Web Property with Sitecatalyst tool installed. The Header and Footer embed code of this property is set in two different pages(lets say Page1 and Page2). Page1 also happens to contain the legacy code in it, whereas Page2 has no legacy code. Now with the above option enabled in the web property, Page1 send tagging using the legacy code(which is a correct behavior) because DTM does not interfere in this case, but the problem i face is with Page2 which does not send any tagging at all, whereas the expectation was it would send the tagging based on the s-code configured in DTM and other logic in Page Load Rules and Data Elements.Am i missing something here? May be there a configuration that i am missing? Or is this the actual expected behavior?Regards,Riyaz

Hi,My company is trying to see if transitioning to DTM will be a good option for us. We have decided to go with the library download hosting option and I have a question regarding it. From the DTM help page I see that "JavaScript libraries: Produced by the Management Application and transported to hosting servers." Does this mean that we can not upload some common libraries directly and then reference them in the Javascript/3rd party tags section with an includes reference?I'd really appreciate any input that anyone may be able to give me in this matter.Thanks for your time,Mike

1.    I created a new Page Load Rule.2.    The conditions on the page are    a.    Trigger rule at DOM Ready    b.    And only fire when dataelement OrderId is numeric3.    I created a Non-Sequential HTML script in the Javascript / Third Party tags section –4.    I have two variables I want to alter on the page    a.    fb_param.value = %SubTotal%;  ==== This works fine as this is a javascript variable on the page.    b.    fb_param.currency = 'USD';   === This does not work as you can see it is hardcoded as USD but I want it to be dynamic.So here is the question:        For fb_param.currency = 'USD';    I want the ‘USD’ to be dynamic on the page based on an asp:hiddenfield on the source.  Everything I try to access this hidden field variable doesn’t seem to work the way I think it should.        <input type='hidden' name='satlCurrencyType' id='satlCurrencyType' value='USD' />I have created a dataElement for it called CurrencyTypeI have tried to access the variable with jQuery  :

I'm tagging a site that's almost entirely built on a single html page. So as they move through the site, I need to trigger s.t() calls based either on what they click on, or what elements become visible. I'm trying the 2nd route, firing a call when certain elements enter the Viewport. Hopefully that is the right approach--would a non-visible element within the viewport fire something off in DTM? If so, then I'm going about this the wrong way. But I must be doing something wrong regardless, because nothing's firing for me. Here's my rule: - Event-based Rule with these Conditions: -->Event Type: enters viewport (immediately)--> Tag: <div>--> "manually assign properties & attributes" checked--> id = bookingStepsAnd that ties to an s.t() call in Adobe Analytics. Any ideas why that wouldn't work?

I am working on a basic implementation of DTM on a secure site. When I navigate the site, I can see the data that should be set in the debugger as well as in the browser console. The tool and rules are firing as expected. However, when I log in to adobe analytics to view the data, there is none. I have checked and doublechecked the suite ID and just about everything else I could think of. I compared it to a successful implementation and both are configured alike. Has anyone ever had a similar experience?Thanks!Chad

I've been having problems getting DTM to update rules after I approve and publish. I'm not sure if I just have to wait for the cache to clear out, or if there is a way to clear it manually. For example, I updated a Lead Success to fire a custom event and I also changed the title. However, after not seeing the event fire in digital pulse debugger, I noticed in the _SATELLITE that the name isn't updating so I'm assuming that's why the change I added to the rule isn't working either. I've notice this happen before when I've tried deactivating a rule and it still fires. Why does this happen and what can be done about it?   

HiWe have a number of sites that use s.contextData on the page and we use the s_code to pick up the value and write it into props and evars etc.  Some are also using processing rules as well.Using DTM and AppMeasurement.js we're unable to get contextdata to work.  We have a block of code on the page as follows:<script type="text/javascript"> if(s){ s.contextData["page"] = "product.category"; } </script>It seems to be getting re-initialised when the DTM code actually loads and we're therefore unable to use it.  Is this correct?  Does DTM and AppMeasurement still support contextData in this manner?Any advise would be appreciated.ThanksTim

I have a click event rule that fires once in Chrome and FF, but twice in IE. The debugger gives me this:SATELLITE: detected click on A SATELLITE: Rule "My rule" fired. SATELLITE: detected click on A SATELLITE: Rule "My rule" fired. What causes this in IE?

HiI am trying to implement DTM with "AA page code already present on page", using the same s_code.js URL as for the present page code. I specify Object name = "s2".Now Event based rules are fired, but it seems that the AA tool settings associated with it are not considered, no beacon is generated neither, while custom JavaScript associated to the same rule is executed just all right.As soon as I uncheck the "AA code present" option, everything works well.Am I missing something?Many thanksMarco

Hello, I am new to DTM and I have set up a few data elements and I need to set the page name on every page but there is no page refresh.  The page names are defined in the data layer.  How do I create a rule, specifically, to capture the page name depending on what it is defined in the data layer?
