I've implemented Mobile App Acquisition as instructed here: https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/mobile/android/acquisition.html I've run into the situation where sometimes the InstallEvent request fails to pick up any of the campaign information. It is always coming through, this is apparent because I save that info when the INSTALL_REFERRER Intent is received and then add it to a custom tracking even that happens later. Instead those attributes get automatically tacked on to whatever request happens next (usually a track page) and then not processed by the server. Taking my device and repeatedly clicking on the link, installing, opening, and uninstalling the app shows that the InstallEvent request fails to pick up that campaign info about a quarter of the time. That's a lot of misattributed clicks, so I'm very interested in some way to prevent this. 

We manage several branded versions of an app that all share the same short application name (the name under an icon, on the user's homescreen).iOS correctly uses and reports the app's long name or ID so that the data is separated correctly in Adobe Analytics.Android, however, reports using the app's short name, which ties each branded app's data to the same name. This obviously causes problems with reporting accurately.What can we do about the incorrect use of the application short name instead of long? Has this been fixed in more recent versions? Hi all,i have a weird situation with this client: it has a consumer APP which is partially native and partially retrieves page from the web with the webviews.From the analytics side, this means that site catalyst requests are sent from the native side through the java/ios library, and from the web with the usual javascript code.Obviously, since these parts don't talk to each other, we got double visits for each user (one visit counted for the native side, one for the web side).Have you ever met this situation? What do you suggest to make visits unique between the two sides? Thank you,Alessandro

I get the following error when running on the simulator.  This doesn't show up when building for a physical device.  Undefined symbols for architecture arm64:  "_OBJC_CLASS_$_AppMeasurement", referenced from:   objc-class-ref in AnalyticsAgent.old: symbol(s) not found for architecture arm64clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation)Is there a version of the AppMeasurement library that would support ARM64 and not give this error?K. Hello, we tried to implement Adobe Analytics WP8 library into WP 8.1 app, unfortunately it seems to be incompatible.When using production settings it fails at:var measurement = ADMS_Measurement.Instance; An exception of type 'System.TypeInitializationException' occurred in ADMS_Measurement.DLL but was not handled in user code Additional information: The type initializer for 'ADMS.Measurement.ADMS_Measurement' threw an exception.When using debug settings, it fails at:TrackingHelper.ConfigureAppMeasurement(); An exception of type 'System.IO.FileNotFoundException' occurred in Zentity.Zuno.Banking.WindowsPhone.exe but was not handled in user code Additional information: Could not load file or assembly 'ADMS_Measurement, Version=3.0.6.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. Hi,I have a question regarding Crashes report in iOS life cycle metrics. Can someone please explain how 'Crashes' report is tracked in SiteCatalyst?"Triggered when the application does not exit gracefully. Event is sent on application start after crash (the application is considered to crash if quit is not called)."We found the above in documentation, but we need more details. What is a quit and when is it called/triggers usually?The reason why I'm asking is because we are seeing a massive increase in our crashes report since we launched our latest app version. But the new version traffic seems to be doing better than our previous versions.The numbers we are seeing from SiteCatalyst aren’t the same we are seeing from Crittercism (10k vs 150k daily) – we’d like to understand what triggers the instance.We don't have any idea why SiteCatalyst suddenly reports such an increase in Crashes report. Thanks

Several question regarding mobilemarketing.adobe.com : - What is an Adobe session, and how can we configure it ?- What are the numbers in the Path reports? Are those sessions? If so and the Overview says average session length of 6.36 hours, then shouldn’t there be higher numbers?- What is the funny colored thing that tapers off the back end of each path that is not connected- Can we get click counts out of Adobe analytics ?- Can we see A/B results?- Do we have any access to the raw data outside of the web reporting interface?- How is Adobe associating a user with a region? Why do the map reports not match the tables in terms of users in each state?

I'm trying implement the Analytics package into an Android app for the first time. The company I work for has used Omniture for ages, and provided me with source code for earlier projects as an example to configure it for the one I'm now working on. My problem is, what they used seems to be a very different implementation that the current SDK I'm working with. They import import com.adobe.adms.measurement.ADMS_Measurement and use an ADMS_Measurement object to handle everything. The newer SDK is com.adobe.mobile.Analytics, has different method calls, and requires me to set up ADBMobileConfig.json This is where I've hit a wall. I was provided with an rsid and a server to use, but the config file wants to know target: clientCode and an audienceManager server, and I can't find exactly what those are supposed to be in any of the documentation I've looked through. If anyone could get me pointed in the proper direction, it would be very much appreciated.

Hi,I am looking at some of the overview metrics in our mobile marketing site. When I select data for the last week, it shows a Total Session Length of 24.63 minutes and number of Users is 3,757. With so many users one would expect a much higher Total Session Length. Unless users install the app, open it, never use it and close or put it in the back ground immediately. However....the Average Session Length is mentioned as 2.23 minutes. But if I multiply Average Session Length by number of Users (as each User is at least 1 session), the Total Session Length should be nearer to (2.23 * 3,757 😃 8,378 minutes (~139 hours), not 24.63 minutes.Is it possible the Users is misinterpreted ? Could these users have logged in last week, session has been closed (causing low Total Session Length), but Adobe still counts them as a User ?Thanks for any thoughts.RegardsRobert

When we use delimiters (pipes or colons) in the tracking code for acquisition links, the IOS SDK translates those into actual pipes or colons when it stores the tracking code in Analytics. But the Android SDK saves the url-encoded version of the delimiter. (source%7Cmedium%7Cetc instead of source|medium|etc)Is there any way for us to fix this?Or, is it possible to fix this in the SDK?We would like to use delimiters to keep tracking codes consistent with web tracking codes.

In the 4.x SDK, if the app launches from the background less than five minutes from the previous launch, it counts as a resume, but past five minutes (by default) it counts as a new launch. Was it the same way in 2.x? Was there a time distinction between resume and launch, or some analogue of the lifecycleTimeout field? Also: where can I find documentation about 2.x? I have some legacy code that had it (which is no longer in production) and am frequently asked about how things have changed. Questions like that are hard to answer if I don't know how it should have behaved when the code was using the 2.x version of the SDK. 

When using the Adobe SDK 4.5.5 we see that the acquisition: server and appid properties from the configuration ADBMobileConfig(Dev/Prod).json are composed to a http://server/appid url.On iOS 9 however the http request will only result in a faulty response as Apple is enforcing https (TLSv1.2) connections throughout the App.This would result in “stuff”, “uuid” and “dcs_region” to be not properly fetched. All other requests fired by the Adobe SDK properly connect to the specified https endpoind.Are we doing something wrong in configuring the initial request or is there an update scheduled?
