Hi, I am new to AEP and Adobe Data Collection, I am trying to follow adobe documentation on Javascript Library Web SDK Integration.Adobe learing link: Install the Web SDK using the JavaScript library | Adobe Data CollectionApplication is simple html page, I have added main script inside header and config script at end of head tag.I am able to see alloy object in website console, but i dont see any activities captured in datastream dataflow activity.Please guide me to fix the issue am facing.I created schema,dataset,datastream in "https://experience.adobe.com/" and used created datastream ID in script. Attached "index.html" file where i added scripts.Thanks,Parvathi   

Hi there, We're working through a WebSDK migration at the moment and I have a question about 'this' scope in Update Variables In old AA:If I have a rule that fires on clicking something, in AA Update Variables Custom Code the 'this' object references the clicked HTML element. In WebSDK:Same rule, WebSDK Update Variables Custom Code, the 'this' now is the entire window object. Does anyone have a way to get the clicked HTML element that fired the rule? Side question is there any documentation around which javascript objects/function/etc the Web SDK Ext has access to? Thanks!

Hi,newbie to AEP and core and web SDK extension. I have the following set up.I want to fire an event (click event) when the user clicks on an anchor tag link and capture the value/innerText of the link. on debugging in the browser console i see that the value i want is at "event.target.childNodes[0].textContent". I want to capture this value and update an element in the schema.I created a new rule of eventType "click", had the CSS selector too. I had my conditions set up too, with conditionType as "custom code".  in the condition after going through a bunch of If..else statements, i return true . In the action how do i tap into the event and capture the link value to update my schema element? documentation doesn't give any pointers. Do I have to do a websdk send event in action and map my schema element in the data configuration?i want to capture "event.target.childNodes[0].textContent" and insert into my schema.page.mylink element. can anyone throw some light?

Hi Community,We are seeing an issue after migrating our mobile app to Flutter, specifically for iOS users where our flutter page reports seem to be capturing visits correct, however our pages that have not yet migrated to flutter are now seeing a significant drop in number - about 30%, but they are not completely zero. Android users are not impacted at all.I have also checked in our dev app using Assurance to see if any pageView events are not being captured, however we are able to see the AEP Request call as expected. Any insight or advice would be helpful to see if we can pinpoint the issue.Thanks!

Hi, I have a couple of questions I need help on:I have a dimension with dimensions Card Issue Date, Card Activation Date, etc. These are in Date-Time format. I now need to create a couple of cohort tables that will show me how many cards were Activated within 5 days of being issued, 10 days of being issued, etc. I have tried converting the dimensions into metrics so I can attempt creating Calculated Metrics. Didn't work. Can anyone please guide me on how I can crack this?I created a Connection with two datasets - Card Transactions & Product Holding. I will now have to create a dashboard listing customers with 1st/2nd/3rd card transactions done YTD, MTD. Hi, Our App is using Adobe Analytics and upgraded from ACP to AEP SDK with XDM & Edge Network recently, found that the amount of Life Cycle calls has increased in a huge amount, contributing to ~70% of our total server calls usage. Our app is now sending Life Cycle call in every single foreground and background event. Even when the user is not using our app, but just swipe through the opened apps and get across our app, the Life Cycle calls are generated. Would like to see if this is an expected behaviour? or we are missing something in our implementation/configuration? As it's talking about 70% more calls than before, it has a very serious impact to our budget on using Adobe Analytics. Suggest anyone upgraded to AEP SDK and using Edge to check their server call usage. Thanks,Josh

Hi everyone,I would like to know how I can apply a filter in a workspace of CJA so that it only displays information related to the selected attribute of a product added to a purchase order. For example:I would like to know the most selected flight routes for one-way trips. When I break it down based on the freefrom table, it works correctly, where I check the "product category 2" to identify the type of product and filtered by outbound, the "product category" to ensure it is a flight, and the "product name" that shows the selected route.However, when I try to add these attributes as filters (dropdowns) in a panel in the workspace, I still see other attributes that I don’t want to appear with that type of filter.Is it possible to do that? How can I make these dropdowns function at the product level rather than the event level?I would really appreciate your guidance and help.

We are seeing this error in the console: Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: [alloy] [ActivityCollector] [ActivityCollector] An error occurred while executing the onClick lifecycle hook.Caused by: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'web') This is only happening when we are using the Adobe Experience Platform Debugger.   Any ideas on where to start hunting to find what might be causing this?  

Hi,  Can we leverage Events type schemas from sources like Marketo, Salesforce to build customer AI use cases in AEP? 

We have a requirement were we need to use the custom action to send sms outbound communictaion to the customers based on the send time optimizer. In AEP send time optimizer is available for email and sms. Is there a way where we can use this for the customer action as well. If yes please provide the documentation details.

Hi We have a mobile app which is a wrapper around the webview and is created in Flutter. Apart from general lifecycle metrics for mobile app, all other pages and interactions are coming from webview and are tracked using Javascript but are seen as part of mobile app due to the wrapper.We have integrated the mobile app with Tag enabled for mobile and added and registered all required packages in flutter app for Adobe WebSDK tracking. Two problems we are facing:1. We see lifecycle metrics in the Assurance calls but no data for Launches or Installs or Device Type is being tracked in the mobile reporting enabled reportsuite2. No page/screen views or clicks are being tracked from mobile app. We have not added anything specific for page views or clicks since these are all tracked  by webview which is the underlying code behind the wrapper. Is there anything specific to be done to have webview calls pass to webSDK and then Analytics when viewed from Mobile App?Attaching the reg

HI,I have 1 XDM object and 2 report suits  and 2 schema (DEV and PROD)How to manage DEV ,QA and PROD publishing activities parallelly with one rule for all environment.Want to change XDM object as per environment dynamically. 

We have a model service setup through AEP DSW that has been running perfectly for the last 38 weeks. The last two weeks, the service has failed to train or score (both parts start with the same base dataset).  Roughly 13MM records are added to the base dataset each week. Since I cannot find anywhere in AEP where the exact size of a dataset it given, I have estimated the current size to be somewhere between 4GB and 15GB, depending on which math I use. In the first step of the training (and scoring), we are getting the following error: ErrorCode: 53400 Size of results for interactive query exceeds max value of: [32GB]. Consider running this statement with CTAS syntax. The query is set to pull only the most recent 20MM records (since, as previously mention, roughly 13MM new records are added to the base dataset each week). Do you know which is the earliest iOS mobile SDK library which supports Apple M architecture? We are still using one of the SDK4 versions. 

We started getting the error below last week when we use Python within JupyterLab to write to a dataset. Is anyone else running into this? Any workarounds? We have setup both VEC and form based AP activities, In both cases the preview link does not show the expected activity. When pushed live we still don't see the experience, and when the offer response is inspected we see no html offer in there.  Anyone know what we are missing here?  krGavin

Hi, Checking on how Web SDK handles the existing AMCV cookie, found that the expiry date of the kndctr identity cookie seems does not refresh when clicking several pages. While can see the kndctr cluster cookie expiry refreshes on every hit. My understanding is that this cookie carries the ECID, if the cookie doesn't refresh, is it going to affect the unique visitor count particularly under the Safari ITP where the cookie are capped 7 days? Thanks,John 

Hi, Question on CJA geographic dimensions. Data is streaming into data set with Web SDK, with Geo Location set as "City" in Datastream. It seems like only the Country dimension is populated with country data in CJA workspace, while there is no data in Regions or Cities dimensions, is there settings or config to enable them? Thanks,John 

Hi @1905403Our goal is to identify orders and revenue associated with the Natural Search channel, specifically where this channel was involved as a touchpoint - except as the last touch. For this, we want to use a linear attribution view, excluding the last touch, with a 30-day lookback period.  The approaches I've used so far are:  1. Created a segment where 'Marketing Channel = Natural Search' and 'Last Touch Channel does not equal Natural Search'. Applying a linear attribution model to this segment has not given any numbers. I wonder if there might be any specific reasons for this, as the logic seems okay?2. Custom Attribution Approach: I've used the custom attribution model with 50% weightage for the starter, 50% for the player, and 0% for the closing touchpoint. While this approach aligns with the goal of excluding the last touch, it does not provide a linear attribution view, as it assigns fixed weights to the first and middl

we see in the Journaling API event data push to webhook is real time, but Organization blocks that webhook access, is there any alternative approach for this events streaming may be in to AWS kinesis or Splunk or Kibana?
