Hi,I was creating a data view in Customer Journey Analytics and I got an "undefined" value in the "External ID" field. Where does that value come from and how do I debug it? Also how is this field leveraged?Thanks,MJ

Hi, - Any there any best practices for implementing AEP Mobile SDK on Hybrid App? Specifically, what methods can be used to share Visitor Information(ECID) from the native screen to Web App?- as per Adobe documentation, recommended approach for sending events is through the "sendEvent" API from the application end to capture custom Variables. Howerver, are there any downsides to using EdgeBridge Extension while continuing to rely on MobileCore.trackState and MobileCore.trackAction to pass custom data via ContextData.

Team,We are trying to ingest the email value (string as data type) from source to AEP data lake and there are some empty value. Since the email data type is secondary identifier (I think so) platform doesn't allow us to ingest the empty value and so we are ending with format related error. We could suspect that only due to the empty value being ingesting on the platform we are facing the formatted error. We have tried with solving this issue using calculated filed and no luck yet.I know it is only possible from calculated field. Could you please let me know which fucntion we should be utilising to over come this issue and let me know if any.

Hey Adobe Community, I have a composition audience that I split into four different audiences. Now, I want to perform another split on two of those four audiences in the composition, but it will not let me. Is it not possible to perform multiple splits in one composition audience?

I want to create an audience of individuals who received a specific API triggered campaign. What is the best way to ensure that only the people who received the email are in the audience.To put it another way, we have built an API triggered transaction campaign, I want to build an audience based on the people who actually received the email, excluding those that bounced or errors etc.I have tried building an audience based on the Email Delivered event and tried multiple combinations of campaign version ID, Action ID, Campaign name etc but when I estimate the audience size I continue to get zero. For reference, the test population of campaign is currently below 10.Thank you in advance

Hi team, I am currently in process of migrating the analytics tracking to WebSdk and while doing the same, I am facing a challenge for Experience cloud id (ECID). I am trying to capture ECID via data prep method as per this documentation https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-platform/tags/extensions/client/web-sdk/accessing-the-ecid and followed the steps like going to datastreams, within mapping I provided a sample JSON payload put source field like xdm.identityMap.ECID[0].id and refer to custom eVar where I want to track it. There are two questions which I wanted to cross check. 1. Although, I am able to see these ECID's in Adobe Analytics but I can't see them neither in any debugger like omnibug or in interact call, as I am expecting to see this ECID getting stored in that eVar where I am passing within that data prep method 2. hi all, based on the adobe documentation clickCollection.eventGroupingEnabled is a boolean that determines if the library waits until the next page to send link tracking data (clickCollection | Adobe Data Collection). Have tried setting it to "true" and the event bundling does not work. The existing appMeasurement set up does the trick - activity map is being surfaced on the next pageload. Want to have the exact set up in the web sdk. Would appreciate if anyone could help. Thanks   

Hi,I'm confused, in Adobe AEP data collection, what's the difference between the data element type of XDM Object and Variable? As far as I can tell, when you use XDM Object in a data element, the selected fields will automatically be updated when a send event happens? If I create a data element with the "variable" data element type, that means that I have to have a rule before the send event where I am selecting the event and properties to update? Is this correct? So, from what I'm understanding, XDM Object will update the XDM object every time, regardless of the event and the update variable is used to update the XDM object only on specific events?  Thanks!

Hi, I'm trying to push an UPDATE value to a specific field in my dataset using Data distiller. Something like  update my_datasetset _tenant.customfield.occupation = 'updated_occupation'where id = 'VADER00000000000000000000000000004200';This returns me this: ErrorCode: 42601 queryId: <error_id> Syntax error encountered. Reason: [line 1:8: missing 'MODEL' at 'my_dataset'].  I search the community for answer and found this https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-platform-data/update-query-in-aep-query-service/m-p/689876#M7154. The only thing I understand from this is that the UPDATE method doesn't work in data distiller and we should use INSERT INTO as a "fix" instead. Is that right? Can someone explain to me what the error missing 'MODEL'  means? Is there documentation around this? Thanks

Our goal is to ensure that if a user returns to the site, they are not prompted for consent more than once. To do this, we want to align the user ID stored in OneTrust with the ID managed and collected by AEP’s identity service.Here are a couple of key points we’d like to clarify:How can we ensure that the same user is not asked for consent twice when they return to the site? I heard there is a HOUSE HOLD issue with current AEP, but I am not sure about that issue.How can we keep the user ID in OneTrust consistent with the one collected and managed by AEP’s identity service, allowing seamless consent tracking across sessions?Any advice or guidance on how to best achieve this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help!

HI,I watched a You Tube video "Adobe AEP and CJA Implementation Speed Run by Jimalytics" and I'm a little confused. When he created the data stream, he didn't select any services. I thought you would have to select "Adobe Experience Platform" as a service to enable services like CJA, RTCDP AJO, to have access to the data? All he did was go to CJA after and create a connection with data set he created. What am I missing? Thanks!
