Hello – When creating a dataSet via Postman API’s, I inadvertently used the “meta:altId” value, instead of “$id” value to reference back to the schema. I attempted to make a PATCH request to update the schemaRef, but response is returning as forbidden. Does using the “meta:altId” cause any issues in the long run? The data ingestion process using that dataSet and schema appear to actually be working just fine, so this is just a concern of any long term affects.  I do realize that I can delete the dataSet and re-create, but trying to avoid that if at all possible.

Then I changed some values in the same file and inserted the record into the same schema, but it was not updated; instead, it was inserted into the same schema.Is there any way to update the records?  SS for reference

Hi All,  I hope you are doing well!  I have not been able to connect to the Facebook destination in AEP. I continue to receive the {"message":"Facebook Error: Permission error","code":"400 BAD_REQUEST"} error. I have ensured that all permissions satisfy the instructions on this page https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-platform/destinations/catalog/social/facebook.html?lang=en#facebook-account-prerequisites but I continue to receive the same error message.  Has anyone had the same experience and found a resolution? All the best, Ryan

We have configured data stream overrides both in the Extension Level and at the Send Event level. When testing one vs. the other, we are able to successfully override the data stream in the send event. However, when we try to do exactly the same thing from the extension level, it fails to override the data stream. Any advice or suggestions?

So is there any standard format in which we have to ingest this field's data. Additionally is it mandate to convert this fields data to UTC timezone.By default in which timezone this data is. Thanks 

Hi Team,We have a requirement to ingest data into a map attribute.Schema have a map attribute field and values will be ingested using Source database dataflows.I have to use data prep function 'to_object' to ingest data.While trying out with the sample code provided in document, it is not inserting any values into map field.Eg: to_object​(“firstName”, “John”, “lastName”, “Doe”) is not ingesting any values.But, when I used to_object("Test Data",iif(lower(license)=='y',to_object('val','y'),to_object('val','n'))) in ingestion using dataflow, it was showing below result.Result: [Test Data -> "(NULL,NULL,NULL,y)"]If I'm referring to documentation, result should be {"Test Data" : {"val":"y"} } Question: Why the result is not showing up for example provided in documentation.Is there any way that we can validate why to_object​(“firstName”, “John”, “lastName”, “Doe”) is not ingesting any values?Also, if to_object is not the function that can be used for data prep, wh

The debugger is showing variable names that were newly added to the event in the format of %eVar name% These two specific elements were newly created in the launch and added to rules and published. I am a little bit unsure why it is displaying in this format  Any insights, suggestions, or guidance would be greatly appreciated. I'm particularly interested in hearing from anyone who has successfully navigated a similar setup. Thank you in advance for your help!

As part of segmentation output to destination, does AEP provide both Profile and Event details (same as what I see in dataset)?

Hi, I got the following error with streaming data coming from an HTTP API connector:The message cannot be validated due to the data type error. Expected type: Integer, found: Double. When I looked at the failed batch, I see that the JSON field value associated with the error is 0. How is 0 not an integer in AEP?Any clues or insights on how to proceed with this error? Thanks 

We are attempting to do a segment export to an Azure Blob destination. We are able to get a successful connection when entering the Connection String, but receive the following error. ACTBTC-2400-400An error has occurred when exporting data to the destination. Unable to perform the data export with the parameters flowId=08b31e06-d229-4494-a2e0-eca6eccc4c41 segmentId=ups:0f7cdaf6-e584-4edc-b94a-a1c3c6359e3a flowRunId=a60d67cb-7b7a-4d9c-a4c5-33be7d77b9d0. The error message returned by the destination is hadoop_azure_shaded.com.microsoft.azure.storage.StorageException: This request is not authorized to perform this operation.. Please verify that you have sufficient storage space in the destination. Destination IP WhitelistI am assuming that in order to use this Azure Blob destination the Destination IP address needs to be whitelisted - is this correct? Hello, We have a requirement to create a postgreSQL source connector.When connection string is provided in configuration, source connector creation is failing just with an alert banner "Authentication error".In AEP, is there any way we can view logs for these connector creation errors?.We need to identify details of error, why error is happening 

hi allcan i ingest only selected fields for the schema using the http api source ?example  schema  :clientid (primary id) firstName:stringbalance : intso in the initial ingestion  from the API  i have ingested one record with the mapper  3333,joe,400 now i need to update the balance only so i posted 3333,500.  using the same source api what happened  is that the "joe" disappear from the profile... how can i handle it better ? this is just short example , in the real scenario i have hundred of fields  that i don't what to pass since they haven not changed

Hey all,   I tried looking for documentation or if anyone has experienced the same as what I am but was unable to find anything.    When I enable any of the extensions (YouTube Playback or Video Tracking for YouTube extension), my youtube video disappears on the site. I'm assuming it is something with the markup of how the iFrame/embed is but not sure if anyone can provide any feedback or assistance?

Hi, I tried ingesting a batch file using an SFTP connector on a FOLDER path. Unfortunately, the folder contained an unrelated file and the ingestion failed. The error says: INGEST-1401-400 The row has corrupted data and cannot be read or parsed. Fix the corrupted data and try again. How can I fix (delete the problematic file) and try again? I still have 2 files in this batch that are in the right format that I would like to ingest, but I first need to delete the problematic file. I don't understand where these files are kept at the moment. I see them when I look a the failed batches in the API and in the UI, but I don't see how I can fix and try again. How can I achieve this? Thanks

Hi Community, I am wondering if there are recommendations to get around M:M relationship targeting? Below is a diagram of our identity structure. At the web login (email level), this is where our onsite targeting happens. However, under each Web login, there can be multiple billing accounts, but each billing account can be associated with multiple web logins (e.g wife & husband have their own unique logins).  We want to target at each unique Web login level, however, with private graph enabled in our Merge Policy, AEP automatically consolidates all the Web logins & Accounts into a Single Profile because there linked identities. We need the private graph because we also need to use the profile attributes from the billing account profile fragments. Is there a way to isolate each UUID, and the associated billing accounts into unique profiles? I've been told B2C is the solution we need, but that's not in our roadmap to migrate over yet :(. AEP Profile&
