Hello,I have been struggling to conceptually understand how this scenario will play out and any insight will help.  Scenario:Segment evaluation method: batch (I only need to send updated audience once per day to a destination, and do not want to use up our 500 allotted streaming segments). Our batch evaluation kicks off each day at 12:30 PM UTC.My definition states: (Include audience who have at least 1 Any event where (Business Journey Name equals XX and Channel equals All and Wave equals 1 and Event Type equals export.qualified) ) and occurs in last 24 hour(s) I am curious how the "and occurs in the last 24 hour(s)" piece of this will function since evaluation ends at different times each day. Does the 24 hours time apply at the kick off of evaluation, the last timestamp of a successful audience evaluation, or something else? I want to ensure that I do not

In today’s highly competitive market, understanding customer behavior and acting on insights in real time is critical for success. Businesses are constantly looking for ways to drive personalized experiences that increase customer engagement and loyalty. One method that has stood the test of time in this endeavor is RFM modeling—an analysis technique that segments customers based on three key behaviors: Recency, Frequency, and Monetary value. The Data Distiller team built a customer RFM model within the Adobe Experience Platform environment. Here’s a look at what we achieved and how this approach can transform how businesses engage with their customers. What is RFM Modeling?RFM (Recency, Frequency, and Monetary) analysis is a data-driven approach to segment customers into distinct groups based on: Recency (R): How recently a customer has made a purchase.Frequency (F): How often a customer makes purchases.Monetary (M): How much revenue a customer generates through purchases.&nb

I don't understand why adobe doesn't have a training class that covers the Tags implementation for the SDK, for developers? There should be a class that covers:How and why to create various data elements and rules for the SDK.What the different Data Element types for the SDK are. What the different Rules, SDK action types are.Schema creation and types,Data Streams creationData Set creation and ingestionIdentity MappingData ConnectorsEvent ForwardingHandling different data layersData MappingAPI usageThese are just a few of the things off the top of my head! The reason I'm posting this is because while there is some training that covers a lot of this, when it comes to the Tags piece, it is very basic and any developer that wants to really learn this has to struggle if they don't have access to an environment with these capabilities (i.e. third-party consultants or unemployed developers). One can only learn so much by watching videos and reading documentation without having access to an en

I am a regular user of "Adobe Assurance" tool for Mobile App testing.Recent Adobe Assurance tool showing up 2 Adobe Analytics tabs "Analytics Events" and "Analytics Events (deprecated)". In Analytics Events (deprecated) tab, contextData showing up as expected. screenshot of "Analytics Events (deprecated)" tab : In "Analytics events" tab, when I am pulling contextData to view in the list, its not showing up any value. screenshot of "Analytics Events" tab : If "deprecated" tab going to get disappeared soon then this issue needs to be fixed on the other "Analytics events" tab.Is anyone else facing the same ?

Hi Team,I work for a client that has a dataLayer implementation on its website since it normally uses Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to perform its measurements. However, said client also has an Adobe account and is interested in having data in this tool.To avoid making two labeling implementations, we intend to use the same information from the dataLayer to capture it in Adobe. I see that by default the CORE extension is capturing the dataLayer events, and I have not had a problem with the click events, but I have a problem with the page_view event which is inserted into the dataLayer every time the page loads, as I see which CORE does not always recognize.I have done some tests. I see that when I reload the website several times, sometimes the CORE extension does recognize that page_view event but it is quite unpredictable and I don't know exactly why it captures it at times and at other times it doesn't. I thought maybe the dataLayer wasn't filling before Adobe lo

Hello,I'm currently working on integrating Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) with Salesforce and am facing a challenge with reliably linking profiles between the two systems. I hope you can help me find a solution. (There is a simple diagram that might help explaining the problem I am trying to solve). The Problem:Changing Identifiers: In AEP, individual pieces of information (like email or phone number) can change or be removed over time, making it difficult to select a key that always points to the same unique profile.Experience Cloud ID (ECID) Limitations: While ECID is commonly used, it’s not ideal for my needs because:The same profile can have multiple ECIDs if users change devices or clear their browser caches.I'm concerned about the long-term reliability of ECID as the profile evolves and old data might be purged.Multiple ECIDs Issue: Using the first available ECID to link a Salesforce record can make it difficult to identify which ECID was originally used, causing reliability issu

Authors: @mbroom @agregg  Editor: @danny-miller    Most of our customers with RT-CDP are looking to drive greater returns on advertising spend. It will come as no surprise that one of the most common questions we get when architecting this use-case is “How do I get my audiences to Google?”. Getting to the answer to this question can seem daunting with the SEVEN different advertising destinations with Google to choose from. We’ll use this blog post to help guide you through how you can make the choice for which destination(s) to integrate your RT-CDP instance with based on your use-cases and platform identities.  Before we get started, make sure you’ve read our “De-Mystifying Destinations” blog as this one will build upon basic concepts that we covered in depth in that blog post.   Note: This blog post is exclusively discussing advertising destinations with Google. There are other Google destinations available for cloud storage or analyt

Hi Everyone,I'm new to AEP and Target and would like to create an experience activity in Adobe Target where the main banner changes based on the user's previous actions. For example, if a user visits the Men's category and PDP pages, the banner on the homepage should display Men's products when they navigate back to the homepage. Again the same user visits the Women's category and PDP pages, the homepage banner should show Women's products instead of men products in that same session. How can I achieve this using AEP audiences?

Hi, I have been trying out the Luma app AEP Mobile SDK tutorial and tried to set-up a postback following the video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-z9ivQjzOYFor testing purposes, I have set-up a very simple endpoint that I can easily access (tested) from anywhere without any restrictions and it returns the request details in the response. However, when I use it in a postback configured in a Tags mobile property, the endpoint is never called according to the server logs. In Assurance, I can see that a Rules Consequence Event has been triggered and that it carries the correct url in the templateurl property. Any idea why this might be? Is there any more configuration required in order to make this work?I also updated all the extensions to the latest versions.Any help would be much appreciated.

Authors: Jaemi Bremner (#Jaemi_Bremner), Sunil Kumar A K, and Sachin Yelchithaya (#Sachin_Yelchith). In this blog, we are explaining different approaches on how we can build a dataset in Adobe Experience Platform to perform cross-device analysis using Customer Journey Analytics which was incepted from multiple customer requests. Statistics from various sources depict the usage of multiple devices across digital domains. This makes it interesting to get some insight into specific patterns of consumer behavior across devices. While mobile usage is on the constant rise, tablets and desktops continue to mark their presence as well. Generally, around twenty percent of cross-device transactions completed on a desktop start on a smartphone, and 35% of those completed on a smartphone begin on a desktop. Ignoring to measure the cross-device performance, this alone could lead to poor decisions based on weak or insufficient data. A study says globally, 31.6 billion connected devices are exp

Hello everyone! Welcome to our first thread on 'Tuesday's Tech Bytes'. This thread focuses on 'Tips & tricks in Adobe Web/Mobile SDK Migration'.   Considering we already know about what Adobe Web/Mobile SDK is, let’s not spend time reviewing anything over here. For more information related to Web/Mobile SDK, kindly go through the Implement Adobe Experience Cloud with Web SDK tutorial from Adobe Experience League. Also, for these posts, rather than reading through the paragraphs, let’s ask and answer questions in phases for a more directed understanding.   What’s the licensing cost? All Experience Cloud customers can use Platform Web/Mobile SDK. It is not a requirement to license a Platform-based application like Real-Time Customer Data Platform or Journey Optimizer to use Web/Mobile SDK. So, the important stopper is already out of our equation.   How do we convince our business for this migration? Platform Web/Mobile SDK can solve multiple problem areas in data colle

Hello everyone! Welcome to our second thread on ‘Tuesday's Tech Bytes’. This thread focuses on 'Tips & Tricks in Adobe Web/Mobile SDK Migration' and is the second part associated with the topic. Please head over here to read the first.   Without further ado, let's pick up where we left off last week.   Once Datastream is configured what would be the immediate next step? The immediate next step is to configure the 'Data Collection Tags' for data collection; however, the configuration steps are somewhat different from the legacy one.   What are the extensions required to implement/migrate Platform Web/Mobile SDK? It is important to note that the extensions for Web and Mobile are not the same, and hence the tag configuration for this implementation/migration differs. The below extensions are exclusive from the default extensions like Core for Web and Mobile Core & Profile for Mobile. Extensions for Web: Adobe Experience Platform Web SDK (Mandatory) Common Web SDK P
