AEP Mobile SDK - Personalization.request event

We are receiving numerous ''personalization.request'' type events in AEP. Do you know why that event is generated?

It happens when the app is launched. Every time an app is launched, AEP SDK tries to identify the user using the APP and update the identify map with ECID or any other defined identifier.
In this case the event type is personalization.request. I am using you are updating the Identity Map (to identify the user) every time the app is launched and Biometric login is successful.
