My customer profiles are not merging correctly, resulting in duplicate profiles or profiles missing key identifiers. Can someone please give related documentation for same?

Hi,

  • Possible Causes:

    1. Improper Configuration of Identity Graph: Identity namespaces and stitching rules might not be configured correctly.
    2. Data Quality Issues: Inconsistent or missing identifiers in the ingested data can lead to identity resolution failures.
    3. Merge Policy Conflicts: Conflicting merge policies can result in profiles not merging as expected.
  • Troubleshooting Steps:

    1. Review Identity Graph Configurations: Check that identity graph settings, including identity namespaces and rules, are correctly defined.
    2. Audit Data Quality: Ensure that data ingested into AEP has consistent and accurate identifiers. Use data quality tools to check for duplicates or missing identifiers.
    3. Check Merge Policies: Review and adjust profile merge policies to ensure they align with desired outcomes for identity resolution.
