'enum' data type in AEP

If I have configured enum data type configured with predefined list of values, for example: Blue, Green, Yellow. However, if I upload a dataset to AEP with predefined colors as well as a new color: Black. What's the outcome of upload?

Will all the records gets successfully uploaded?

The batch ingestion will fail and you can see this under Data Management 》 Monitoring
