Hello All,I'm having trouble building an audience in AEP. The profile is visible in the dashboard, but I can't able to create audience and its not showing any data . I modified the display name in the schema after profiling.  Does anyone know if this is (modified the display name in the schema) an issue or how long it takes to develop an audience in AEP?

Hello, My XDM schema has a "userId" field that should receive one of three possible ids in the source data payload, based on which source id is available, using the Calculated Fields IIF() function.  So if "sourceId1" is available, it should always be used - if "sourceId1" is not available, "sourceId2" should be used, and if both those are not available, "sourceId3" should be used.  We are sending data to AEP via the Edge Network Server API and mapping source properties to our schema via the data prep mapping UI. Source data is structured like this: { "xdm": { "_myorg": { "sourceId1": 'aaa', "sourceId2": 'bbb', "sourceId3": 'ccc' } } }  The IIF() statement I am trying to use is like this, mapping the result to "userId". iif(${xdm\._myorg\.sourceId1} == '' || !${xdm\._myorg\.sourceId1} , (iif(${xdm\._myorg\.sourceId2} == '' || !${xdm\._myorg\.sourceId2} , ${xdm\._myorg\.sourceId3}, ${xdm\._myorg\.sourceI

In data prep do we have any function using which we can check length of input string.And if so which function also how can we ensure only if suppose length of that string is 5 for eg then only it gets ingested to AEP.

Hello All,  I am a bit confused as to which should be used to throw a success event, a s.t() or s.tl() call. This will fire on the confirmation page and originally I would have the event on the s.t (page view) call but hearing some recommend using s.tl call, would it matter which one is used when they both would contain the same variables (props/evars)? I was thinking keeping it in one call within the s.t() page view call to avoid a s.tl() call that could be combined on the page view call. Tried looking on line for best practices and I know s.tl is for custom link tracking but what is the recommended or best practice for something like this?

Hi Team,I've a requirement to transform data incoming date field to specific format - yyyy-MM-ddFrom input source system DOB field is coming in 2002-07-07T00:00:00 formatWhile applying transformation as date(dob,"yyyy-MM-ddTHH:mm:ss"), I'm seeing preview result as "2002-07-07T00:00:00.000Z"But when the data flow runs, it is ingesting empty values in dataset.Question 1: What could be the reason why no data is getting ingested in dataset, while I can preview the data in data mapping phase?Question 2: I've to ingest data in yyyy-MM-dd format in an AEP date field. How to connect mysql with Adobe experience platform as string connection give me an example?

Hello,I am using cURL to test sending calls to the Adobe Edge Network server API.  In the past, I have been able to use Assurance to generate a "debug session id" that allowed me to send requests from cURL through Assurance. However, it now seems that Assurance now requires that you set up an app with the Assurance SDK first: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-platform/assurance/view/event-transactions.html?lang=enWhen I create a session, I can generate a "adb_validation_sessionid", but when I attach the ID to cURL requests events don't show up in the session.Am I no longer able to use Assurance with simple cURL requests/outside of the SDK?Any input appreciated.  Thank you.

Per my understanding, Segmentation works on Unified Profile datalake and NOT on the main AEP datalake where we have all the historical records.In that case, all the de-duplication should have already been taken care by Identity service when it is doing all the merging of different/duplicate profile records assuming that the Identities have been set appropriately. Is that fair to assume, that scenarios where identities have not been set properly and Profile Service cannot merge different records, implies multiple records for the same customer still exists post Profile unification. In this case, when we want to send unique records to Destination (based on attribute(s)), De-Duplication feature is introduced for this use-case.Please confirm. 

Is there any guidance, best practice from Adobe/AEP around out-in attribute to be sent to Destinations meant for customer marketing perspective via email, text, etc? I believe there is no mandate to send the Opt-in attribute to Destinations. The Segment(s) selected for the Destination(s) should have the appropriate rules to filter out the opt-in = FALSE customers/audience. Suggestions?

When we integrate Adobe analytics with AEP, we integrate at AA Report Suite level. Is it possible that we create a Segment in Analytics that matches the requirements (as Segment Rules) and send this data to AEP dataset? Reason for this question is that I dont want to bring such huge data into AEP from AA and perform the data filtering at AA layer itself.  I know this will impact our CDP data and it will have limited data to perform Identity stitching. But, it suffices my requirements.Thanks!

We are working on a AEP/AJO requirement which is expecting personal contactable data (like Email) to be decrypted before activation.Scenario:1. Encryption of user's email attribute at customer level.2. Encrypted data to be ingested in AEP.3. Email id needs to be decrypted before sending email to the person via AJO.Step 1/2 are fairly simple but we need help to understand if step 3 (decrypting email before activation) is possible in AEP/AJO. if yes, please help us with possible options.

How to fetch more than 50000 records from Adobe postgres DB through java application (jdbc)

In data prep do we have any function using which we can check only if input string follow any regex pattern then only it gets ingested to AEP else it should show null value.

Hi,  We have analytics data ingested in AEP where evar33 is ingested as ECID and evar14 is ingested as leadClassID, we have a separate profile schema where we have ingested leadID and LeadClassID.  Based on leadClassID as the identity we would expect profiles to stitch together, but however we are noticing that some of the profiles are stitched but some of the profiles are not stitching. Profile stitch based on leadClassID is happening intermittently. Does anyone know any probable reason or cause for this issue ?  Thanks,

Hi, I need to create a segment to identify if a company had more than 5 participants in a conference they attended. Also, in case that condition is met, check if any of those persons went to any of my previous conferences. For example, Microsoft team went to my conference and they were 6 persons. Also, at least 1 of them went to any of my previous event so I'll send an email via AJO to the VP giving Microsoft a gift for meeting those conditions. I've tried this, adding the "Attended" segment and the "previousEventAtteneded" is true. Then I don't know how I can do the count of persons by company."previousEventAtteneded" is an attribute"Attended" is a segment but it comes from an event field (NewStatusName)

hi I'm trying to ingest encrypted data into AEP from   Data Landing zonefirst, i ingested the data without encryption to be sure that my mapping is working then i followed https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-platform/sources/api-tutorials/encrypt-data.html?lang=en i have used the public key from the call https://platform.adobe.io/data/foundation/connectors/encryption/keys to encrypt my csv   using  GPG keychain software on my Macthe data flow failed with the following error 107 Unable to ingest the data in the file because the encoding does not match the original file.i have saved my file in UTF-8  any ideas ?
