Enable Template Rules(Page Delivery)

Let's open a thread on template rules as this is very complicated and straightforward as well.

When we want to enable an activity on all site pages then how template rule should be set.

For example, the site URL is: https://www.abc.com/

and we want to enable the XT banner display on all the site URLs under https://www.abc.com/

What is the ideal way of setting the template rule here:

I think setting the parameter open like www.abc.com in the template rule will let the experience get displayed on my campaign UTM links like www.abc.com?utm_campaigns=springoffer or also on other sub-domains if any like support.abc.com, community.abc.com, etc

Hi @jyotisharmav
In its simplest form I would just say URL contains abc.com. You're right that any subdomains and URLs with campaign parameters will also show the activity.

Keep in mind that even though the activity runs on all pages based on the template rule, the activity will only be shown on pages that actually has the element that your activity/experience i using.

If you're using Target to host a script it is a different story, as it will then run on all pages as there is no element that the experience is depending on.

@kandersen-1 Yes, I do have a script that loads a promo banner through Target. But I do have a subdomain where I don't want this personalization to show up for example.: support.abc.com which I guess can be put in the "does not contain" condition to avoid

I think this should work

I'd configure the logic something like this - assuming the campaign parameters you use is cid
