Exclude vanity URL from internal search Results

Hi,

We have configured our search using S&P. However, when we search a page which also has a vanity URL added to it, both the main URL and the vanity path is coming in the search results. Ideally this should not be the case. Like i Google search we hide the vanity URL from it. We want something similar for S&P too. Can someone please help with how we should configure it?

I think in S&P you need filtering script to act on this.
