Adobe Target

We are looking to use Target to test the effect of removing a feature (X). We wanted to ensure this won’t have a negative impact in the conversion rate before we permanently remove this feature X. So the requirements are: For first time user, split into one of 2 groups. Group A is default experience. Group B is new experience minus feature X.User is identified by account number. For repeat user with same account #, always put them in the group assigned in step 1. In an activity, regarding the setting on goal metrics, there is a option to set "viewed an mbox" then show an unseen experience.Is it possible to set "viewed an mbox" N time then show an unseen experience?Regards,Ricky

Hello,We would like to use Product Recs on our Product Description Pages which have the product SKUs in the URL. They look something like this:/product.24-MB05.html/product.26-M987.html/product.MG-B234.htmlWe have over a 1,000 different SKUs (URLs) but the structure is all the same.  I’ve created a profile script which uses regex to determine whether the current page is a product page however the VEC requires a specific URL in order to use the editor.  Using the FORM based approach allows me to use the profile script (or anything else passed to the global mbox) but seems to require an old-school Target Classic in-page mbox (Adobe Launch doesn’t currently support passing parameters to in-page mboxes).Is there a way to use Recs with a dynamic URL (1000+ variations) and he global mbox?

Hi Guys,What are the drawbacks or disadvantages of using Auto-allocate?I feel that pushing more traffic to a single experience only after 1000 visitors and 50 conversion is very small for some high traffic websites. I am also not sure how the algorithm works to decide a better performing experience so early into the experience with so little data. Please share if you have the same concerns or correct me if I am wrong.Regards,Suchindra

Hi,I am following this doc to set up target.Create an Experience Targeting activity The visual experience composer works for me local page. However, when I try to browse any server website, there are errors like: Refused to display 'the url' in a frame because it set 'X-Frame-Options' to 'sameorigin'. I followed the instruction on Adding X-FRAME-OPTIONS to response on AEM 6.2 but obviously this ticket is not even solved. I still have the X-Frame-Option inside my response header.Appreciate for any help.

Experience TargetingIs there an easier way to call up a 100 mi radius around a city, lets say Littlerock, Arkansas, without making an audience filled with zips or city names etc...? I know that radius and geo is not 100% accurate but it would cover 90% of my needs for a project. Thank you!

HiI have Global Mbox and am passing multiple data set as Mbox parameters. I am trying to utilize the Mbox parameters in PageDelivery option while configuring the test. I can see parameters are set up right, But somehow activity is not mbox parameter rule. Am i doing something wrong?-VK

hi, I am hoping someone would be able to assist with in this situation.We have an implementation where we integrated Adobe Target with Adobe AEM. That way the end user can do personalisation / targeting from either of UIs.However as an result we end up having multiple mboxes firing for each experience on the page. I will illustrate:at.js injected via DTM adds a global mbox to the pagewhen experiences are created within AEM UI using Targeting mode, each of the targeted components (or building blocks of the page) become "offer locations" and they then start to fire 2 duplicate local mboxes.the mbox duplication takes place once per component. What it means is that no matter how many experiences (modifications of the same component) we create, it will still send 2 local mbox calls on page loadif there are multiple targeted components on a page, each will fire 2 local mboxes. Example: if we target 5 components, the page will send 1 global + 5x2 local = 11 total mboxes on page loadQuestion:i

I'm trying to XT a page that leads to a page I'm running an AB test on.But I don't understand how to connect the links on the XT page to the corresponding version of my AB test.For example:I am using abc.com/landing as a destination for paid media traffic.I am splitting the traffic (defining audience by CID, for example) into 2 audience segments, so:- Segment 1 will see a pop-up banner with a dog.- Segment 2 will see a pop-up banner with a cat.On click of the pop-up banner CTA, user will be directed to the same page: abc.com/testOn abc.com/test, I am running an AB test: - A = hero banner of dog- B = hero banner of catSo I want to ensure that Segment 1 sees version A, and Segment 2 sees version B.Is there a way to do this? I want to maintain visual continuity in the creative across my activities.

Hello,React application is build using Server Side Rendering and recently we started using Adobe Target using AT.js. But we are facing issues with React DOM re-rendering.We initially had the AT.js in the head tag, then we moved to body tag. and things started working properly.But there is a page flickering, and we don't see any option to avoid this flickering. we tried adding the flickering script given in the documentation, but that doesn't helps. Also we tried the react AB test extension, but that doesn't support Server side rendering.Is there a way to resolve this issue and make the adobe target works great with React SSR without losing the page performance/flickering.
